There are was an Athenian red-figure vase painter working from 475 to 425 BCE their name is unknown, but they are known as Persephone Painter. His current title comes from the image of Persephone rising from the Underworld on a bell krater. There are several characteristics of style and the existence of a unique artistic personality.
