Girl of the Uchter Moor

In 2000 the body of a teenage girl was found in a bog by a peat cutter in Uchte, Germany. The person was using a backhoe at the time and dismembered the body. Leaving more than 100 body parts to recover. The girl was found to be from the iron age and was called Girl of the Uchter Moor or Moora.

Her remains were dated to 650 B.C. and she was around 16 to 19-years-old. It's believed that she lived as a laborer and had chronic malnutrition throughout her life, underwent two partial skull fractures, and suffered from different diseases. Due to her malnutrition, she suffered from bone decay and lack of bone growth, and she had a benign tumor in her skull.

Her death is believed to have been accidental. There had not been any violent injuries to her body that would have caused death. It's theorized that she may have been picking bilberries (intoxicating berries) at the time she died. She may have slipped and fallen to her death . She may have also been nude at the time she was mummified.

21-year-old Florian Krüger enjoyed being a DJ in his spare time in Germany. On the night of November 25, 2011, Florian played music at a bowling center and then afterward went to a discotheque. Friends would have seen him there and talked to him and at about 1 a.m. the next morning he would leave because he was tired. However, instead of going home, he went to his boyfriend's house because he wanted to talk about their difficult relationship. His boyfriend told him to leave and they would talk about it the next day because of how late it was.

His phone would be found inside with a message to a friend he saw earlier at the discotheque. "Kevin broke up. For me, life has no meaning anymore." Unknown Artists: Master of the Weibermacht

In the 1450's and 1460's there was a German engraver active in the Lower Rhine area. Their name is unknown now, but they are known as The Master of Weibermacht (sometimes Master of 1462). His name derives from his large-format engraving of an original interpretation of the common theme of Weibermacht (Power of Women). There are other engravings depicting both religious and secular subjects these engravings have been credited to other artists at one time or another though.

The Kayhausen Boy

In 1922 the body of a young boy was found in a bog in Lower Saxony, Germany. He was called the Kayhausen Boy and was between 7 and 10-years-old and had lived and died between 300 and 400 BC. The boy had been killed and it's more than likely due to sacrificial reasons.

The young boy had been bound. Strips of woolen fabric were used to tie his arms behind his back, and a length of textile was wound around his neck, passed between his legs, and back up to his neck where the two ends were tied together. It was found that he had been stabbed 3 times in the neck and once in the left arm. It was likely killed with a dagger with a 4-centimeter blade. It's unknown if he was stabbed before or after he was bound.

It's likely he was sacrificed because he was disabled and probably considered disfavored by their gods. He had suffered from an infected socket at the top of his femur and was unable to walk without assistance. His story and identity will never be known as it was lost to history.

There is a picture of the boy, but it shows how he's tied up and to be a bit too much to post on here. Both links below do have images of this mummy though.

2 June 1997 Altena-Bergfield Jane Doe

309UFDEUExperts led by Professor Vanesses from the University of Glasgow in Scotland have given the victim a face again

On June 2, 1997, around 7:30 p.m. a motorcyclist used was riding in a forest in a wooded area in the Altena-Bergfeld, Germany. This was where he found the charred remains of a young woman. The girl had been sexually assaulted and strangled in another area before being brought to where she was found. The girl was believed to have been alive when she was doused with fuel and set on fire. Based on DNA this crime was committed by a family member of the girl, likely her father. It's possible family or father claimed that the girl moved away or ran away. It could also be possible that they claimed to have reported her missing but never did.

She was a white female between 14 and 20-years-old. She was 154 cm and 45 kg. She had auburn to dark brown hair and blue eyes. She was petite and had a pale complexion. Her teeth were in good condition and received good dental care. One of her upper incisors (tooth12) has an adhesive point attached in a professional way by creating corrosion, it was possibly a diamond-like (likely imitation) ornament around 2mm. The ornament may have been intentionally removed during the crime.
