The legs of a male were found in West River 20 yards downstream from Chapel Street Bridge in New Haven, Connecticut on Feb. 28, 1986. He had been dead for at least 2 days. It says that they belonged to a white male between 20 and 50 years old.

Murder of Akita Ervin
Unfortunately, she was found on June 22, 1992, her body was located in a wooded area off of Ford Road in the Highland State Recreation Area. It was only half a mile from her home. She had been dead for about two weeks. Her body was too decomposed for a cause of death, but the way she was found leads them to believe it was a homicide.

Disappearance of Richard Wayne Sammons
On Jan. 14, 1983 19-year-old Richard Wayne Sammons parents had gotten a call from his fiance. He was last seen on the 11th in Mesa, Arizona and no one could find him. His parents went to his apartment to search for him. Nothing was disturbed, everything seemed to be in orderly condition. He had left behind, clothes, vehicle, checkbook, and cash behind. There was no indication of foul play.

Murder of Donna Ogletree Johnson
On July 16, 1984, 28-year-old Donna Ogletree Johnson left her home in Lamar County, Georgia at 2 p.m. She took her car and her two small dogs to bring trash to a local dumpster. She never returned back home. A few hours later her vehicle was found with her two small dogs still inside by the dumpster she went to. This was found to be suspicious.
The Lamar County Sheriff's Department in Barnesville, Georgia were called. They responded immediately and the officer responding, Rene M. Hood, knew something was wrong. She was familiar with Donna and knew something was wrong. A search party ensued.
Unfortunately, a heavy downpour of rain began soon after the discovery of the vehicle.
On that same Monday night, her body had been discovered. Around 8:52 p.m. she was found bound and gagged in a rain-filled rut of an abandoned logging road. She had been sexually assaulted, hit by a car and hit about the head three times. Lots of potential evidence had been washed away or ruined by the rain.

Phantom Barber of Pascagoula, Mississippi
In 1942 WWII was in its 3rd year and towns across America were manufacturing weapons and supplies for WWII. The little town of Pascagoula, Mississippi was a coastal town and a perfect place to build warships. This had increased the population of the small town also. Something strange was also happening in Pascagoula during the summer of 1942.
On June 5, 1942, someone had slit the window screen at the Lady of Victories covenant. Two young girls were sleeping but awoke when a man they described as "Sorta short, sorta fat, and wearing a white sweatshirt. Both girls were missing a lock of hair and that was the only thing that was done.
A few days later on Monday the Barber struck again. He had slit open the window and snuck into the room that 6-year-old Carol Peattie lay sleeping next to her twin brother. He had cut the girls hair and had left a bare footprint.
It was believed that the same man had attacked a sleeping couple. He snuck in through a screen he had slit. Neither was killed, and his typical trophy wasn't taken. He had also attacked another victim by using chloroform.
57-year-old Chemist William Dolan was charged with the crime involving the couple. He was not charged with any of the other hair snatching crimes. They believed he was guilty of them though because police claimed a bundle of hair was found behind his home. In the eyes of the people saw him as the Phantom Barber. It's possible that the police wanted to end the case and placed blame on William Dolan to stop the public fear.

Disappearance of Nguyet Minh Nguyen
32-year-old Nguyet Minh Nguyen had also gone by the name Anna. She was last seen on November 9. 1998 when she dropped her fiance off in west Seattle, Washington. Two days later her white 1996 Acura CL Sedan with Washington license plate with 855FDS was found at the Riverside Inn. It's a bar casino in the 14000 block of Interurban Ave. South in Tukwila, Washington.
Days after her disappearance someone was using Anna's debit card at cash machines at various Seafirst banks in the Seattle area. Her ex-boyfriend was arrested in the connection with the thefts. He had also previously been arrested for assaulting her in September of the same year. It is unknown if he's involved with her disappearance. Her fiance had been cleared of involvement.
Anna left behind her elderly mother and young daughter whom she lived with. She was employed as a hairstylist at the Hair Masters Salon in Burien, Washington.
She's an Asian female and was 32 at the time of her disappearance. She's 5'7" and 120 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. The order of her name may have been changed, and she may use the birth year of 68 instead of 65. Her ears are pierced.
She was wearing a black dress, a black t-shirt with an attached vest, a black leather coat or blazer, black dress shoes, a diamond ring and a gold chain necklace with a cross pendant.

Disappearance of Steve Lewis Arrowood
18-year-old Steve Lewis Arrowood was living with his parents at the 400 blocks of Chestnut Street in Gastonia, North Carolina. On March 9, 1975, he had left home without a warning other than a note for his parents. He had withdrawn $815 when he did. On March 20 he wrote a letter telling his parents he'd gotten a job in Dallas, Texas.
In Dallas, Steve was seeing a 30-year-old married woman. The woman's husband was a long distance truck driver. On March 30th Steve and the woman were caught by the husband. The husband threatened to kill him. The woman agreed to go with her husband to New Orleans, Louisana as long as he didn't kill Steve. Steve returned home and in the following days, he had told friends that he thought the woman's husband was following him.
On April 3, 1975, Steve had dinner with his sister at the Fern Forest Apartments. He went out with a friend afterward.
While he was out with his friend he stated he saw his married girlfriend's husbands car. There had seemed to have been someone inside. His friend couldn't see the driver but made note that they followed them.
Steve dropped his friend off at 10:30p.m. and it was the last time anyone saw him. He had left behind an uncashed income tax refund check of $500.
For several hours Steves 1971 Toyota was found parked at the swimming pool at the Fern Forest Apartments. The door was open and his belongings were inside. The keys were in the ignition and a pair of men's underwear lying on the ground behind.
On April 7, authorities got a letter from the woman. The authorities opened and read hoping there would be clues to his whereabouts. They didn't contain any valuable information though.
The woman's husband was located and questioned. He withdrew to take a polygraph test. It's unclear if the husband is a suspect in the case.
Steve is a white male and was 18 at the time of disappearance. He may go by either Lewis or Steven. He's between 5'8" to 5'9" and 145 lbs. He has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a scar under his chin and a reddish birthmark on his chin. He was right-handed.

On the night of January 15, 2012, the temperatures in Washington D.C. were freezing. Just before midnight, a man walking down Channing Street notice something small wrapped up in a brown and red striped towel on his neighbors stoop. He quickly went inside and got his father to help him. They were hoping it was a baby doll, but upon further inspection, it was a baby girl. She was bleeding from her nose and mouth. The two contacted emergency services as they tried to warm the girl up. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at 2:21 a.m. on January 16.

On Jan. 16, 1952, the partial remains of a man were found on Miramar Beach at State Highway and Cabrillo Highway in Half Moon Bay, California. His hands and lower extremities were missing. What Was The Venus De Milo Doing With Her Hands?
Venus De Milo also known as Aphrodite of Milos is a Hellenistic statue located at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. She was discovered on the island Melos in 1820 by a French Navy Officer, Voutier, and a farmer. It's believed to have been created in the 2nd century B.C. possibly around 150 B.C. by Alexandros of Antioch. She's nearly nude with stands at 6 ft and 8 inches tall, and like many Greek statues, she's missing her arms. It's believed that she is supposed to represent a Goddess, possibly of Aphrodite or Artemis or Danaid, or Amphitrite.
The thing that is shrouded in mystery with this one is what she's doing with her arms. It's believed that she may be doing something with her hands, but since they were broken before or during her discovery it's unknown.
Some believe that she's holding something or leaning on something. It's possible that there may have been another human in it possibly resting her elbow on Ares' shoulder. She could have been holding an apple, bow, amphora, mirror, crown, shield. It's unknown and will likely never be known.

Murder of Therea Wilson
On January 14, 1977, 26-year-old Therea Wilson was found stabbed to death in the garage of the Slater Hilton Hotel at 10 Ford Street in Hartford, Connecticut. She was found in the back seat of a 1976 Cadillac. She had been stabbed between 40 and 50 times.
Therea had also gone by other names such as Thera Wilson, Theresa Wilson, and Mona Williams. At the time of death, Therea had been engaged in prostitution.
Police have had numerous leads since Therea's death, but none have panned out. The Governor authorized a $50,000 reward for tips that lead to the conviction of people responsible.

January 13, 1975 San Montara, California John Doe
On Jan. 13, 1975 someone discovered the torso and thighs of a boy approximately 250 yards south of Montara Light House in Montara, California. The Sheriffs and Coroners office arrived and found the body on the 13th. It was initially believed to have been the body of Paulo Tapete who had drowned with his father in December.
The body was approximately 7 to 8 years old. His race is unknown. An orange plastic piece 1/8" wide was found in the rib cage.

Madonna with Saint Giovanni and the UFO
The Painting The Madonna with Saint Giovannino was painted in the 15th century. Most people credit it to the Italian Renaissance painter Domenico Ghirlandaio. Ghirlandaio had lead an artist workshop in Florence that Michelangelo apprenticed at. There is some controversy on who painted it, but that's not the mystery.
The painting was like many religious ones at the time. The only thing that sticks out is the object sitting in the upper right area of the sky. It seems that the shepherd in the background is staring at it. Many believe that the strange shape looks like a UFO.

Murder of Pauline Elizabeth Brazeau
On Jan. 8, 1976 16-year-old single mother Pauline Elizabeth Brazeau was socializing with friends at her Aunts home in Calgary, Alberta Canada. During the visit, she had consumed a large amount of alcohol. She and a friend decided to go to a local pizza restaurant around 2:30 a.m. on the 9th.
At the restaurant, they ate pizza. Pauline had forgotten her gloves and returned to the restaurant on her own about 15 minutes later. She couldn't find her gloves and left the restaurant without them. She was never seen alive again.
5 hours later at 8:30 a.m.Pauline's partially dressed body was found on Jumping Pound Forestry Road 22 miles southwest of Cochrane, Alberta. She died to multiple stab wounds.

The Isle of Dogs
Ben Jonson Thomas Nashe
The Isle of Dogs is a play that was written by Thomas Nashe and Ben Jonson in 1597. In July of 1597, it was performed in the Swan Theater. It was a satire that had political roots. It's unknown what the play consisted of, but the performance caused an uproar. It was immediately suppressed it for sedition and many of the people involved were jailed. All scripts for the play were seized and presumably destroyed.
It's possible that the play may have been about or part of it was about the Palace of Placentia where it was believed Queen Elizabeth had her dogs kenneled. It was also a meeting place for the Queens Privy Council to meet. It was criticized for its rowdy reception and that it embarrassed both the Queen and her Council.
Ben had been jailed multiple times due to his controversial work. After his death, most of his work was burned.

Murder of Mildred Gumbo
25-year-old Mildred Gumbo was a Zambia National. According to one newspaper On Sunday, January 7, 1990, Mildred arrived in Hawaii. At the time she was staying with her estranged husband. On Jan 9, 1990, she left with a local man and more than likely was at a nightclub in Waikiki as she was spotted there around 2 a.m. on the 10th. She was last seen around 4 a.m. on the 10th, leaving her husbands home in Kailua in his car.
Mildred's body was found the next day she was found nude, assaulted (doesn't specify) and was strangled to death. Her body was found near the Heeia Kea Pier. The car she was driving was found the next day. It was found abandoned in the parking lot of Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center in Kaneohe.

Whipping Tom
In 1681 lone women were afraid to walk around in London, England. Women began to start carrying weapons like penknives and scissors to protect themselves. A man would wait for his victim alleys. He would wait for a lone woman to pass by before he would quickly come up behind her. He would lift up her dress bend her over his knee and spank her with either a rod or his hand. Sometimes he would scream "Spanko!" and run off. He would vanish just as fast as he appeared.
Local men would question whether or not the policing in the area were doing their job. Many vigilantes would dress in women's clothing and walk around alone in hope of the serial spanker attacking.
There may have been another serial spanker in 1672 as one article mentions that another serial whipster was operating. It's unknown if this serial spanker was caught or if they thought it was the same man. In 1712 copycat had operated in the area. He was caught though and had done it because he was hurt by a woman.

January 8, 2014 Sharkey County, Mississippi John Doe
On January 8, 2014, the skull of a child was found on the border of Sharkey County and Issaquena County Mississippi in a drainage canal. The canal was located in a crop field on the east side of the county. Only his skull was found and the rest of his remains were not. Cause of death couldn't be identified, but it is suspicious. The boy had been dead for several years.
He was 5 to 7 years old and the race couldn't be determined. His skull was only found and other qualities couldn't be estimated.

October 7, 1980 Kent, England John Doe
On October 7, 1980 the body of a man was found on the beach under the Shakespear Cliffs, Dover in Kent, England. It is believed that the man may have jumped to his death.
He was a white male between the ages of 30 and 45 years old. He was 198 cm and described as thin. He was clean shaven and had dark brown curly hair. His fingers were stained from nicotine use. e was wearing a Beige Fawn Zip-up Jacket with knitted collar and cuffs from the brand St. Micheals size 40-42, he was wearing two sweaters a Grey St. Michaels 40 Chest, and a Blue Conte Cristo size 38, he was wearing grey pants, blue underpants, grey socks, and a leather belt.

Murder of Shelley Connolly *Update*
On Jan. 7, 1978 16-year-old Shelley Connolly went to an Anchorage bar called Chilkoot Charlie's. At some point during the night, she was seen with several men at the bar. At least one person reported seeing her at Leroy's a diner on C street. A reliable timeline is hard to determine.
Sometime during the night Shelley was raped and beaten. At some point, she was pushed out of a moving car. Her hand had gotten stuck in the door though and she was dragged by the car. It's believed that once they noticed she was being dragged they opened the door and threw her over the side of a hill to the railroad tracks 10 miles south of Potter Marsh at McHugh Creek at milepost 109 of the Seward Highway.
There was evidence that Shelley was still alive afterward. In the snow, you could tell that she tried to climb up the hill. She had died from a ruptured spleen and exposure. The next morning two female hitchhikers found her body.
The four men Shelley was talking to at the bar are possible suspects. The police are also looking for a man who went by "Pinkie" who may have lived in the Kenai area.

On August 30, 2019, 62-year-old Donald F. McQuade has been arrested for her murder. He is charged with both first and second-degree murder. They found a DNA Match by going through genetic genealogy.

Murder of Brittney Harry
On Jan. 6, 2006 Brittney Harry and another occupant were sitting in a parked vehicle in a garage on the intersection of Highland St. and Maplewood Ave. in Signaw, Michigan. Around 1:45 a.m. Brittney and the other occupant were shot. Brittney had died and the other person had been wounded. It isn't known if Brittney was even the intended victim.

Murder of Sandra Whitlock
On February 23, 1985, Sandra's body was pulled from the Truckee River near Painted Rock. This area is east of Reno on Interstate 80. She had been shot in the back and placed in the river. It couldn't be determined when and where she was shot.

Murder of Stacey Brown
On Jan. 4, 2010 around 9:50 20-year-old Stacey Brown went over to a friends house in Gainsville, Florida at 5811 NW 23rd Terrace. A home invasion ensued while she was there. Two light skinned African American males entered the apartment with guns.
Someone who lived in the apartment pointed an unloaded gun at the robbers. In retaliation, the gunman fired shots as they left. In an attempt to get out of the way Stacey was hit by a bullet in the chest.
Her friend's boyfriend was a known drug dealer and that is possibly why they were robbed. It's believed that she wasn't the intended target.
The suspects were two light-skinned black males. What they were wearing, height and weight couldn't be determined. The suspects may have fled the scene in a silver sedan or a 90's era Honda.

Disappearance of Christopher H. Bridgeman, Jr.
33-year-old Christopher H. Bridgeman Jr. was last seen during a visitation with his 6-year-old son at Martian Way Hotel in Thurston County, Washington. He said told his son he was going to go see his father, and Christopher never returned to the motel. He was last seen sometime in Jan. of 1963.
His children had thought that Christopher had left to go try and start a career in country music. He was a budding country singer who had a hit song playing on local radio at the time. In 2004 a cousin asked the family if it was possible Christopher's father killed him and buried him in the basement. His drivers license for the time he disappeared had shown up in his father's possession.
His father had told the family he spent two weeks every year to search for Christopher on the west coast. He claimed he had also filed missing person reports, but no one could confirm that he had. The basement had been searched and nothing was found but animal bones. The house was unstable at the time and Law enforcement had a limited time to search.
He's a white male and 33 years old. He's 5'10" and 160 lbs. He has brown hair and his eye color is unknown.

January 23, 2008 Clark County, Nevada Jane Doe
She was a white female between 25 and 45 years old. She had red or auburn hair. Her height, weight and eye color cannot be estimated. Red plaid shirt, dark pants, and red/brown shoes were recovered by the body.

Murder of Jodi Depaoli
On Jan. 1, 1988 the body of a teenage girl was found in the woods in Bothell, Washington. She was found near an illegal garbage dump. The site was also used for dirt biking. She had been killed more than a year before she had been found.
It took until 2005 for 16-year-old Jodi Depaoli to be identified. Jodi was initially considered as one of the runaways on the list, but for whatever reason, she was removed from the missing person list. Seatle police had told them she had been removed from the missing person list when she was investigated as a possibility.
It's unsure why she was removed. It could be possible that she had run away and had been found and had run away again. He family didn't give up on trying to find her. Now they aren't giving up on finding her killer.

Darcy Dawson Brown and Charlotte Elaine Brown were both married to Morris Brown. Morris has not been arrested for either case. Both women disappeared from Ohio.

One source states Jan. 1, 1966 as Darcy's missing date, but another says it's Jan 21, 1964, from Lakewood, Ohio. On the day Darcy's children claimed to have last seen their mother after their father stabbed her and rolled her up in their orange shaggy rug. She may have been stabbed once in the abdomen and three times in the back. Her body was placed in the trunk of their maroon car. It's presumed she could have been buried somewhere around the Hinckley Lake or Medina County, Ohio areas.
Darcy was either 20 or 22 years old at the time of her disappearance. She is 5'1" to 5'3" and around 100 to 110 lbs. She had several past broken noses. She had gotten frostbite on both of her hands as a child. She was wearing blue shorts and a summer type shirt with plaid. She always wore Native American jewelry.
