Murder of Marie Techlowec Nielsen

On the morning of June 18, 1987, 17-year-old Edward Barrera would arrive at his home in New Britain, Connecticut. The door was locked and he did not have his own since he had to give his mother his. She had locked her keys in her car. He would then sneak into a window to get back in. 

Inside Edward would tragically find his mother's body. She was face down on her bed with her legs bound together with a piece of clothing. She had been strangled to death.

Murder of Juliet Angelino Magiulo

On June 8, 1987, 3-year-old Juliet "Julie" Magiulo was playing in her front yard in Pampano Beach, Florida. She was supposed to walk to a neighbor's home but never arrived and was never seen again. 

Almost a year later two men would be scouting for hunting land in Boward County when they would find Julie's body. It is believed that her kidnapper had asphyxiated her.

Murder of Chantal Saurial

On May 15, 1988, the remains of  16-year-old Chantal Saurial were found by a fisherman near Cannan and Averill, Vermont. Just a mile south of the Canadian Border from her home country. Chantal was a Jane Doe for 8 years. It wasn't listed how she had died, but it was a violent end

She had disappeared from Montreal, Quebec, Canada in May of 1987. She was staying at the Maison Notre Dame Detention Center. During a group outing, she slipped away from them and wasn't seen again. Her life was not easy as she was homeless was working as a prostitute and was into drugs and alcohol. Her friend who was also homeless at the same time said that Chantal was scared of living on the streets. She may have been moving drugs for a motorcycle gang in Montreal.

Murders of Florence Eyssalenne and Gretta Denise Rainey

On 600 block of 3rd St. SE at the Capitol Hill Apartments in Washington, D.C. two women were murdered in an apartment building. The two apartments were next to each other, and neither were broken into. It seemed that the suspect either knew the victims or somehow was allowed in the homes. He would sexually assault the women and strangle them to death. It wasn't until 2022 that DNA connected the two cases. The DNA belongs to a man believed to be Black. 

Around 9 am on October 27, 1985, 23-year-old Florence Eyssalenne's body would be found dead in her apartment. She was raped and strangled to death. 

At 12:20 pm on May 13, 1987, 35-year-old Gretta Rainey's girlfriend Roxanne Johnson became concerned for her. Gretta was not answering the phone when she called. So Roxanne would come to the apartment with a coworker and would find Gretta's body. She had been raped and strangled to death.

Disappearance of Jackie Clinton Fine

  In March of 1987, 34-year-old Jackie Fine was last seen in Pendelton, Oregon. He may have gotten into a car on the Umatilla Indian Reservation on that day.

Jackie is a white male and was 34 years old at the time. He is 5'10" to 6'1" and 185 to 195 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right shoulder.

Psychic Phenomenon: Linda Babb

In early 1987 Dirk and Linda were preparing to adopt a baby to love and raise. On the night of March

7th, Linda would dream of a woman giving birth. The baby would have dark hair and a dark complexion. She would wake up to see that she woke up at 2:59 a.m. The couple would receive a call 6 weeks later as a child was eligible to be adopted. 

When Linda first saw her son she remembered the dream. He had looked exactly like that baby and she would find out that when she woke up to the dream when he was born. Around 18 months later Linda would see a photo of her son with his birth mother. She would realize that she was the same woman in the dream. 

Was it a strange coincidence or was Linda connecting with her son.

Disappearance of Tina Walls

In the late 1980s Tina Walls was last seen by her family in Gulfport, Mississippi. The date last seen is unknown, but the Harris County Sherrif's Office did have contact with her on January 26, 1987, when she was 27-years-old. She would have gone missing after this date. 

Tina is a white female and was in her late 20's when last seen. She's 5' to 5'2" and 95 to 110 lbs. She has Strawberry Blonde hair and it was dyed Blonde at the time. She has Hazel Eyes.

Murder of Víctor Yturbe

On the night of November 27, 1987, 51-year-old Víctor Yturbe's daughter forgot her keys when she left to go to the movies. Around 11 pm Víctor would receive a threatening phone call, it's unknown how he reacted to it. Around midnight a knock would happen on the door at their home in Atizapan de Zaragoza, Mexico and Víctor would open it thinking it was his daughter.

Three men would be standing on his porch. He would be shot 5 times and killed. Once source states that his wife moved him from the door and cleaned up some of the blood. It's not stated what reason she gave for cleaning the blood. 

Víctor Yturbe was a popular Mexican singer who sang under the stage name "El Pirulí". There were rumors that his death may have been because he got involved with a drug dealer's wife and this was revenge.

On September 30, 1987, 25-year-old Jay Fregon was last seen in Fort County, Kansas. There is little information in this case.

Jay is a white male and was 25-years-old at the time. He's 5'8" and 140 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

June 27, 1987 Sterling Virginia Sexual Assault of young girl

On June 27, 1987, a 9-year-old unnamed female victim was asleep in the basement of her home at the 200 block of East Poplar Rd. in Sterling, Virginia. An unknown man would abduct the girl from her home and carry her to a nearby area where he would sexually assault her. He would then release the victim.

Disappearance of Brenda Lee Alexander Edmondson

 

On January 12, 1987, 22-year-old Brenda Edmondson was treated at the hospital for an epileptic seizure. She would then go and visit her mother afterward at her mother's home in Athens, Georgia. When she left that night she went to a convenience store to buy cigarettes but instead bought beer. Brenda was never seen again.

At the time of her disappearance she was living with her son and husband in a room they'd rented from her uncle. 

Brenda is a white female and was 22-years-old at the time. She's 5'0" to 5'4" and 125lbs to 140lbs. She has light brown hair and blue eyes. She suffered from epilepsy. She was wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a purse with a picture of her baby son inside.

Disappearance of Ernest Lincoln "Sonnyboy" Saccheus Jr.

On September 23, 1987, 24-year-old Ernest "Sonnyboy" Saccheus Jr. was last seen leaving the Polaris Hotel in Nome, Alaska where he was staying during a stopover on the way home to Elim from Anchorage. He had gone to go out for drinks and was never seen again. He has been declared legally dead.

Ernest is a Native American male and was 24-year-old at the time. He's 5'7" and 140lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing eyeglasses when he disappeared. He may go by Ernest G. Saccheus.

Murder of Angel Cenkov

On September 1, 1987, the body of 54-year-old Angel Cenkov was found in Bristol Township, Wisconsin. He had been shot in the head and his body dumped where it was found.

Angel is Bulgarian and lived in Chicago, Illinois at the time. He allegedly had "underworld ties" and it was believed that he may have killed two people the same year. The two murders are not involved in Angel's death.

Disappearance of Dwayne "Duke" Edwin Martin

 

On December 11, 1987, around 10 p.m. 23-year-old Dwayne "Duke" Martin left work at a diner called Rob's Place in Sherwood, Arkansas. He left with an unknown person and has not been confirmed to be seen since. Police did receive reports that he was last seen in the area of Shorter Gardens apartment complex at 800 N. Beech St. in North Little Rock. This area is a mile from his home. It is out of character for Dwayne to not tell family members of his whereabouts. 

It's unconfirmed, but some believe that drugs may play part in his disappearance. He allegedly used crack cocaine. 

Dwayne is an African American male and was 23-years-old at the time of his disappearance. He's 5'6" to 5'8" and 125 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.

On April 22, 1987 railroad workers found the body of  17-year-old Raymond Breault on a railroad bed adjacent to Jericho Road in Berlin, New Hampshire. He had been stabbed once in the heart.

Murder of Brian MacAlister

Around 6:50 a.m. on May 02, 1987, 30-year-old Brian MacAlister was shot in the front seat of his car which was parked at Billy's Lounge 48 Millbury St. in Worcester, Massachusetts. He had been shot in the head.

Disappearance of Jonathan Bruce Jackson

Around 8 p.m. on June 9, 1987, 31-year-old Jonathan Jackson left his home in Agana Heights, Guam. He was going out to drink with coworkers. He never returned home and was reported missing the next morning. His Mazda hatchback was later found at the Guam Airport with blood inside. 

A check of tickets showed that a ticket to Chuuk, an island in Micronesia, had been purchased under his name. It's unknown id he purchased the ticket himself or not, but no one used the ticket.

At the time Jonathan was working as a car salesman. He was legally declared dead after his disappearance. Foul play is suspected in this case. 

Jonathan is an African American male and was 31-years-old at the time. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Murder of Frank Richard Ringler

On June 8, 1987, the body of 51-year-old Frank Ringler was found stabbed to death in the living room of a home of 6300 Casada Way in Las Vegas, Nevada. He had been housesitting for an associate that weekend.

Frank had recently returned to Las Vegas after living in Florida and Barstow, California.

Murder of Tammy L. Tracey

On May 27, 1987, 19-year-old Tammy Tracey was last seen in Searles Park in Rockford, Illinois. She had gone to the park to wax her car. The next day her car was found at the park, but she was not and her keys and purse were also missing. There didn't seem to be foul play at the vehicle. 

On April 15, 1988, Tammy's remains were found in the Sugar River Forest Preserve in northern Winnebago County about 15 miles northwest of Rockford. She was identified through dental records and it's believed that her body may have been there since she disappeared. She had been stabbed and shot to death.

Murder of Karen Aguilera

On September 17, 1987, 23-year-old Karen Aguilera had disappeared only a few days after her birthday. It wasn't until May 10, 1988, that her body was found in a field near Curtis Road and Falcon Highway in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her cause of death was undetermined, but it is believed she had been murdered.
