Serial Poopers: Water Tower Defecator

In 2002 White Bear, Minnesota was plagued with a serial pooper. This unknown pooper was nicknamed "Midnight Pooper" and "The Water Tower Defecator". Near the water tower, this person would leave gifts at night and leave. The only reason that it was known that it was human was because like they should they wiped with toilet paper. They would leave the toilet paper at the scene.

In order to catch the serial pooper authorities set up a motion detector and two flood lights and extra patrol. But the Serial Pooper was never caught.

The Invercargill Pool Pooper

Photo was taken by Taylor Simpson

For six Fridays in a row between February and March of 2015, the Invercargill Splash Palace in Invercargill, New Zealand would fall victim to a code brown. A pool pooper would leave their marks in the pools. One day even hit three of the pools in three hours.

There was no evidence of who the pool pooper could have been. The park saw many people a day and their CCTV just wasn't good enough to catch something like that. It could be that not all the code browns were caused by one person. Some theorize it was a kid with stomach issues too embarrassed to speak up. It's likely no one will speak up about who had done this and will remain a mystery.

Wheaton Bandit

Between Jan. 14, 2002 and December 8, 2006, an unidentified man between 25 and 35-years-old would come to be known as the Wheaton Bandit. He commits 16 known bank robberies in the Wheaton, Illinois area including the towns of Carol Stream, Winifield, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, and Geneva. He would end up getting more than $100,000.

He would come into the banks wearing a hood or ski mask, but different clothing each robbery. When he walked in he would be holding his gun placing his finger along with the gun instead of the trigger. The outlines of his jacket suggested he was wearing a bulletproof jacket. The way he held his gun and the possibility of him wearing a bulletproof vest suggests he may have been a police officer or had military training.

There were two possible sightings of the man. In December 2004 a man came into the MidAmerica Bank in Glen Ellyn without conducting a transaction. Two weeks later the same bank was robbed, and this man became a possible suspect. Images of him in the bank were released. Then on the November 29, 2006 robbery a witness stated they saw a man in the parking lot of the Fith Third Bank in Winfield an hour before the robbery. This witness helped with a composite sketch of the suspicious person.

Two more robberies happened on December 1st and December 7th before the sketch was released of the suspicious man. After the composite sketch was released on December 11th there were no more known robberies by the Wheaton Bandit.

By 2011 the statute of limitations has run out on all 16 cases because there is a 5-year statute on the bank robbery charge. The case isn't going to be looked into further as no arrest or conviction could be done for the robberies.

Phantom Barber of Pascagoula, Mississippi

In 1942 WWII was in its 3rd year and towns across America were manufacturing weapons and supplies for WWII. The little town of Pascagoula, Mississippi was a coastal town and a perfect place to build warships. This had increased the population of the small town also. Something strange was also happening in Pascagoula during the summer of 1942.

On June 5, 1942, someone had slit the window screen at the Lady of Victories covenant. Two young girls were sleeping but awoke when a man they described as "Sorta short, sorta fat, and wearing a white sweatshirt. Both girls were missing a lock of hair and that was the only thing that was done.

A few days later on Monday the Barber struck again. He had slit open the window and snuck into the room that 6-year-old Carol Peattie lay sleeping next to her twin brother. He had cut the girls hair and had left a bare footprint.

It was believed that the same man had attacked a sleeping couple. He snuck in through a screen he had slit. Neither was killed, and his typical trophy wasn't taken. He had also attacked another victim by using chloroform.

57-year-old Chemist William Dolan was charged with the crime involving the couple. He was not charged with any of the other hair snatching crimes. They believed he was guilty of them though because police claimed a bundle of hair was found behind his home. In the eyes of the people saw him as the Phantom Barber. It's possible that the police wanted to end the case and placed blame on William Dolan to stop the public fear.

Whipping Tom

In 1681 lone women were afraid to walk around in London, England. Women began to start carrying weapons like penknives and scissors to protect themselves. A man would wait for his victim alleys. He would wait for a lone woman to pass by before he would quickly come up behind her. He would lift up her dress bend her over his knee and spank her with either a rod or his hand. Sometimes he would scream "Spanko!" and run off. He would vanish just as fast as he appeared.

Local men would question whether or not the policing in the area were doing their job. Many vigilantes would dress in women's clothing and walk around alone in hope of the serial spanker attacking.

There may have been another serial spanker in 1672 as one article mentions that another serial whipster was operating. It's unknown if this serial spanker was caught or if they thought it was the same man. In 1712 copycat had operated in the area. He was caught though and had done it because he was hurt by a woman.
