November 22, 1957 Dublin, Virginia Baby John Does
On November 22, 1957, the bodies of two infant boys were found in a box recently buried in an unmarked grave near a cemetery in Dublin, Virginia. It is not stated how the boys had died or when they died. It's possible that the two were twins.
The baby John Does were both African American Infants. The boys were 18 inches long and one was 5 lbs and the other was 4 lbs.

On July 8, 1957, the body of a man was found in Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas. He was found face floating face down on the south bank and had been dead for around 3 days.
John Doe is a white male between 25 to 40 years old. He was 5'6' and 142 lbs. He had brown to black hair. He was wearing a green and brown striped long-sleeve shirt with a pocket on the left upper chest, khaki pants, a pair of white cotton socks, 9A brown shoes with a strap and buckle, a brown woven, cowboy-type belt buckle, and two combs in his pocket. Murder of Anne Theresa Noblett
It is believed that Anne was murdered within hours of her disappearance. Even though her body was clothed there was evidence that she had been redressed likely meaning she had been sexually assaulted. She was then strangled to death. Someone then deep froze her body as the temperatures were mild and there was no possibility of it happening naturally. They then carried her body to where it was found.

On Jan. 22, 2007 the mummified remains of an infant were found in a suitcase in a storage shed in Delray Beach, Florida. It's believed that the infant died between 1956 to 1957.
The baby was a white male with strawberry blonde hair.

Disappearance of Humphrey "Albert" Wilkinson
On Jan. 23, 1957, 30-year-old Humphrey "Albert" Wilkison was last seen at his workplace. He had failed to pick up his last paycheck and was reported missing on Jan. 29, 1957. At his home in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, it was determined his wallet and ID were left at his home and his dog and gun were missing from the home. At the time Albert was working as a carpenter at Martin Paper Co. in New Westminster and was also a part-time commercial fisherman.
On Jan 29. 1957 an employee of Woolworth in New Westminster believed that she saw Albert, and she stated that he went by Al.
Albert did not mention that he was planning to leave or go anywhere. He had no sought employment insurance but did tell personnel with employment insurance that he wished to seek employment in Cache Creek. He also had a dream that he wanted to tour the world, and it was thought possible he joined the military to do so. These lead to nothing Cache Creek failed to turn up a trace of Albert and he never joined the military.
Investigators were also told that he may have gone to Northern BC to go fishing with a friend only known as "Old Man" whom he spoke of often. This lead nowhere as the friend couldn't be identified and it couldn't be determined where said friend lived.
Albert had also been trying to convince a married woman to leave her husband. He had introduced the woman to his family as someone he had married. He had bought her a diamond solitaire ring and a plain wedding ring. They were not married though. She stated that she didn't know why he had left or gone missing, but he wouldn't hurt himself.
It's unknown what had happened to Albert. His family spent a considerable amount of money in newspapers looking for him. None of the tips from these ended up being any good.
Albert is a white male and was 30-years-old at the time. He's 5'5" to 5'6" and 140 lbs and described as having a medium build. He has blue-grey eyes and brown hair with sideburns. He was known to suffer from headaches, stomach aches, but it's unknown if he suffering from this at the time. In the past year, he was known to be drinking quite heavily in the last year. He was an avid cartoonist.
When he was last seen he was wearing a dark green toque, a green jacket, a black wool jacket, black plaid shirt, and knee-high gumboots. He was known to wear expensive clothing.

Disappearance of Cecilia and Leo Payash
On July 1, 1957, 47-year-old Cecilia Payash and her son 8-year-old Leo were walking down Red Lake Rd in Red Lake, Ontario along the railway line. The two were never seen again.
Cecilia is First Nations and was 47-years old at the time. She was 4'11 and described as having a thin build. She had black hair and brown eyes. She has a hooked nose. At the time Cecilia was carrying $30.

Disappearance Moira McCall Anderson
On Feb. 23, 1957, 11-year-old Moira Anderson left her grandmothers Coatbridge, Scotland home to go one an errand for her grandmother. She was supposed to go and buy a birthday card and butter for her mother's birthday. This was unfortunately during one of the worst snowstorms that the area knew.
Two years later Janet, Moira's sister, was out on her lunch break from school. A man working under his hood asked her to hold his dipstick. While holding it the man groped her and she ran from him, but not before taking note of his registration plate. She reported it to the school and they called the cops. This caused the school to ask students to pair up if they leave.
Nothing was done of this incident, but it was later found out the man was Alexander Gartshore. At the time Alexander Gartshore was out on bail for raping his young babysitter. He was also the bus driver of the bus Moira was last seen on.

Disappearance of Elsie Mae Roane
16-year-old Elsie Mae Roane was last seen around 11 p.m. on May 20, 1957, by a police officer. She was walking down the road with two suitcases in West Point, Virginia. At the time she was living with her adoptive father on Fith Street.
It took her father a few days to realize she was missing. Their schedules sometimes allowed them to miss each other as he worked nights and arrived home when she was at school. He reported her missing three days after she was last seen.
At the time she was a sophomore and was an above-average student at West Point High School. She was described as shy kind and intelligent. She is considered an endangered runaway. In 2015 Authorities announced they have a suspect in the case who was the same age as Elsie and they've interviewed him several times.
Elsie is a white female and was 16 at the time. She's 5'8" to 5'9" and 115 lbs at the time. She has brown hair that was short at the time and blue eyes. She was possibly pregnant at the time. She also wears glasses.

Disappearance of Amelia Jo "Molly" Zelko
On September 25, 1957 47-year-old Amelia Jo Zelko who also went by Molly left her Newspaper's office on Cass St. in Joliet Illinois just before 11:30. A bartender claimed she stopped in for a drink and used the payphone on her way home. She then parked in front of her second-floored apartment on 413 Buell Ave.
Someone claimed to have seen some men bury a woman near where Zelko lived. Zelko's shoes were found and her friends stated that it meant she was in danger. She would kick off her shoes and run if she felt in danger. Police thought there may have been a ransom, but no note arrived.
Amelia was a newspaperwoman for the weekly paper in Joilet. She would blast mobsters, political corruption on the front page. She was also a big advocator against gambling. It's unknown if her work at the newspaper was the reason for her disappearance, but she did male a few enemies doing so.
She was reported legally dead in 1964.
Amelia was a white female and 47 years old at the time. She was 5'4" and 5'6" and around 120 lbs. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a hat and a diamond ring and a bracelet they were worth $5,000 at the time.

February 15, 1957 Watsonville, California Jane Doe
On Feb. 15, 1957, the head of a woman was found in a shallow grave under a railroad trestle in the Pajaro River Levee in Southern Santa Cruz County, California. The head was inside of a grocery bag, but her body was not found. According to one news article another large grocery bag was found in the area that had some red discolorations. Similar discolorations were found on the cheek of the head. It's believed she died in 1956.
Head belonged to an African American woman between the ages of 28 to 52-year-old. She had a gold upper tooth.

Disappearance of Mary Margaret Begay
Sometime in August of 1957 20-year-old Mary Margaret Begay was last seen at the Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. She worked at the park and had left her home in Leupp, Arizona to work there. On the day she disappeared Mary and three friends left their employee housing and went to the Grand Canyon Inn to have some drinks. She got into a vehicle with two unidentified Hopi Indian Men. She was never seen again.
When she didn't return to work she was fired and they boxed up her belongings. Her family didn't realize she was missing till they went to visit and she was gone. They reported her to the Navajo Nation Authorities and the Coconino County Sheriffs office didn't find out till a year later.
One of her friends believed she had simply run away and didn't want her family to know where she was. It's thought this was unlikely because she was in touch with her family regularly while she was working at the park.
Mary is a Native American female. She was 5'2" to 5'5" and 100 to 120 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white sweater and pedal pusher pants.
