At 7 pm on March 24, 1974, 55-year-old Mary Redmond would go to Catholic Mass. Afterward, she would stop at Henderson Convenience Store to buy cigarettes and a newspaper. Later she would be found entrance of her home located on the second floor of 88 Bridge Street, in Chatham Head, New Brunswick. The items she bought at the Convenience store were missing along with her light brown leather jacket and purse.
