Murder of William Corsey

39 year old William Corsey was a retired Navy Veteran. In 1983 his childhood friend gave him a job at Polk Chevron Station in Dade City, Florida. He had been only working there for around 10 months. On January 29, 1984 he was working the 4 p.m. to midnight shift. He was working on his own and was supposed to close the store by himself at midnight.

Around 12:30 a.m. a couple of motorists called the Sheriff's office to report the station being open without an attendee. William's body was found in the concession room. He had been shot an undisclosed amount of times by a large caliber weapon. It's believed that robbery may have been motive for the murder as the police did find an empty cash box.

There is a $3,000 reward for the arrest for a suspect.

Murder of April Dawn Lacy

April Dawn Lacy was born on July 2, 1982 and her life wasn't easy. Both her parents were addicts. He father was absent in most of her life and her mother was a prostitute. This was the life that April was used to though. They would, shoplift, dumpster dive and knew which agencies gave out food and clothes. By the time April was 14 the welfare people had taken away her little brother, and she was living with her mother.

April was also living with her mother in a motel in Oklahoma City,  . The hotel was a known hot spot for prostitution and some believe that April's mother may have pimped her out. Her mother denies the allegations.

On October 3, 1996 her mother claims that her and April had fought. April had a history of running away. Her mother figured that was what she had done, because when she came back home her daughter was gone. It took 3 months before she was officially reported missing.

On October 8, 1996 a rancher in Decatur, Texas was checking on his cattle. When he saw a flock of buzzards where he kept his cattle he had thought that one of his cows had died. The birds had lead him to the brush and he found the body of a young girl.

She was nude laying face down tangled among the brush. She died brutally. She was sexually assaulted and strangled to death. It was believed the killer drove down Interstate 35 looking for a place to dump her body. They must have found the dirt road and must have parked by the cattle gate which was unlocked due to the farmer allowing people to hunt on his land.. They dragged her body to the spot she was found.

For two years she was unidentified. She went by the Brush girl up until she was identified in 1998. Her parents were initially in denial and unfortunately it had turned out to be April. The reason for the doubt was because it was believed that April had died several days before she was last seen. It was believed she was dead to a week up to 3 weeks. April had only been missing for 5 days when she was found.

Unfortantly even though detectives found her identity they couldn't find her murderer.

Disappearance of Henrietta Geck Cruz Avila

Photo on right is age progression of her to 75 years old.

In the spring of 1960 17 year old Henrietta Geck Cruz Avila met 24 year old Merle Avila. A month later they married and three months after that she decided to leave. The two had been living in Santa Ana, California together.

Merle stated that one day she had packed up all her stuff and had left him. She did not get in contact with her family though so by August 10, 1960 first her father reported her missing. Merle had claimed to have  spotted Henrietta on a bench in Long Beach, California on August 20. On the 27th her mother got a collect call by someone who identified themselves as Henrietta, but they had hung up. Later that day her parents got a telegram from "Henrietta" saying she had found a job and wouldn't return to her husband. It confirmed to have been a woman who called, but she had given a false address.

In 1961 a week before Christmas mysteriously Henrietta's underclothing and belt was found on the trunk of her fathers car. There was no sign of her and there was no more attempts of her trying to contact her parents. It's possible that foul play may be involved in this case.

Henrietta is a Hispanic female and was 17 years old at the time of her disappearance. She was 5" and 100 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She has a measles scar between her eyebrows. She would have had a gold chain and wedding bands with her.

Disapearance of Andrea Mona Altiery

23-year-old Andrea Mona Altiery was an exotic dancer in Alaska. She went by the names Enchantment, and Fish. On December 2, 1981, she left Boniface Mall in a checker cab around 11 p.m. in Anchorage to meet with someone for a photoshoot. It was the last time anyone had seen her.

She's a white female and was 23 at the time of her disappearance. She is 5'4" to 5'6" and around 15 to 125 lbs. She had medium to long straight brown hair. She was last wearing a leather jacket, a red sweater, blue jeans, cowboy boots, may have been carrying a small flowery makeup bag and a black zipper purse.

Her custom made salmon necklace was found in the home of  Robert Hansen. He was a serial killer who prowled in Alaska. He admitted to killing up to 17 people, but it is believed that he may have killed more as a map in the home that marked 12 of the found victims had more than 17 marks. Most of the women he killed were either prostitutes or exotic dancers.
