September 19, 1975 Iredell, North Carolina John Doe

On September 19, 1975 something was on fire on a rural road leading to Midway Family Campground and 500 feet away from highway 64 and Interstate 40 east of Statesville, North Carolina. It was a blanket and inside was the body of a man. most his body was burned, but his face was not. He had died from multiple stabs to the face and was shot twice.

He was an African American male around 25 to 40 years old. He was around 5'11" and 150 lbs. He had black hair and a full beard and brown eyes. Possibly had a 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch scar on lower lower right quadrant. He was also uncircumcised. He was wearing Seafarer blue denim trousers and it was the type issued by the navy, belt with a metal buckle, a white t-shirt, and blue Pro-Keds tennis shoe on left foot.

The remains were cremated and put out to sea. Due to this the only way of identification is Dental and chest and abdominal radio graphs. His footprints are also available.
