39 year old William Corsey was a retired Navy Veteran. In 1983 his childhood friend gave him a job at Polk Chevron Station in Dade City, Florida. He had been only working there for around 10 months. On January 29, 1984 he was working the 4 p.m. to midnight shift. He was working on his own and was supposed to close the store by himself at midnight.
Around 12:30 a.m. a couple of motorists called the Sheriff's office to report the station being open without an attendee. William's body was found in the concession room. He had been shot an undisclosed amount of times by a large caliber weapon. It's believed that robbery may have been motive for the murder as the police did find an empty cash box.
There is a $3,000 reward for the arrest for a suspect.
