Disappearance of James Lee Meyers

On April 9, 2002, 87-year-old James Meyers was last seen in a local restaurant in Seatle, Washington. He and his vehicle, a red 2001 Chrysler 300 sedan. At the time Meyers was in poor health and having memory problems that was possibly dementia. He was a poor driver and with at least one side mirror broken. 

James is a white male and was 87 years old at the time. He's 5'7" to 5'10" and 140 to 150 lbs. He has grey or greying hair and hazel eyes. He has very narrow feet.

Murder of Evan Jones

Around 10 pm on March 13, 2002, 46-year-old Evan Jones would enjoy a drink at the Beaufort Pub in York Road Montpelier in Bristol, England. He would leave the pub likely going to get food to bring home to eat. 

An hour later he would be found unconscious in a pool of blood on Stokes Croft. He would be brought to the Bristol Royal Infirmary where he would die. It was found that he had been beaten with a chain and kicked viciously.  The murder weapon was believed to be a bike or large dog chain. Police believe that he was attacked by someone he knew. 

It's believed he made it back to his flat and injured his leg somehow. He had stopped on Drummond Street and while there he called an old girlfriend. At 10:55 he then was seen in front of Avonmead House flats speaking to a man there and a fight ensued.

Some people claimed to have witnessed the attack. There were conflicting statements about the attacker or attackers. It's not fully understood what had happened except he was found dying around 6 minutes later.

Disapperance of Por Soua Her

On March 12, 2002, 22-year-old Por Soua Her was last seen in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her car would be found a week after her disappearance. There is little information in this case. 

Por is an Asian Female and was 22 years old at the time. She is 4'9" to 4'11" and 100 to 110 lbs. She has black hair longer than her shoulders and brown eyes. Both her eyes have blue eyeliner tattoos on her lower eyelids.

Disappearance of Stefanie "Stef" Mills

On March 7, 2002, 17-year-old Stefanie "Stef" Mills was last seen in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It's believed she may have left on her own. She may be in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

Stefanie is a black female and was 17 years old at the time. She is 5'6" and 110 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. Her ears are pierced and she has a scar on her right arm. She was wearing a black and grey shirt with black pants that had brown stitching.

Murder of MarRico Gafford Sr

Around 9:50 pm on January 8, 2002, 24-year-old MarRico Gafford Sr. was sitting in the front seat of a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice in the area of 33rd and Larimore Street in Omaha Nebraska. The passenger side door was open and it's believed he was shot from there. When police arrived MarRico was still alive and was transferred to the hospital. He would unfortunately die soon after.

Serial Poopers: Water Tower Defecator

In 2002 White Bear, Minnesota was plagued with a serial pooper. This unknown pooper was nicknamed "Midnight Pooper" and "The Water Tower Defecator". Near the water tower, this person would leave gifts at night and leave. The only reason that it was known that it was human was because like they should they wiped with toilet paper. They would leave the toilet paper at the scene.

In order to catch the serial pooper authorities set up a motion detector and two flood lights and extra patrol. But the Serial Pooper was never caught.

On October 29, 2002, 25-year-old Richard Benitez was shot off of Lancaster Avenue in Wilmington, Delaware. There is little information in this case.

Disappearance of Tamborah Brown

On February 15, 2002, 22-year-old Tamborah Brown was last seen leaving his mother's mobile home on Reams Drive in Mobile, Alabama. He was close with his mother and visited her home nearly every day, but had not visited her as often in the months before his disappearance. His mother stated that he seemed to have been withdrawn and sullen.

A few months before his disappearance Tamborah was arrested on three charges of robbery. This was the first time he had gotten in trouble with the law. He stated that he was innocent and was being framed for the robbery. He went missing soon after he was released on bail from jail. He initially had warrants for his arrest at first but has since been withdrawn.

There were rumors stating that Tamborah had been murdered. Investigations have not found evidence of murder though. It is believed that foul play in involved in his disappearance. 

Tamborah is a black male and was 22-years-old at the time. He's  5'11" and 160 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has chipped front teeth.

Murder of Adrian Harrison

On December 30, 2002, at 8 a.m. the body of 23-year-old Adrian Harrison was found in a small abandoned building in the parking lot at 11th and Elmwood in Kansas City, Missouri. He was last seen alive in Kansas several days before his body was found. It's believed that he was not killed where he was found and his body was dumped. 

Adrian was a long-time resident of Kansas City, Kansas.

Murder of Fatima Lopez

On November 18, 2002, the body of 15-year-old Fatima Lopez was found at 813 Green Grove Road in  Tinton Falls, New Jersey. A construction worker clearing a wooded lot at that location found her buried under several feet of dirt and her body was partially decomposed. It's unknown how long she was dead for.

She had died from multiple trauma, but it was unknown if it was from a weapon or someone's bare hands. Though it was likely from someone's hands. It's unknown if she was sexually assaulted or if her clothes were taken off from the killer or wildlife. There was a small amount of alcohol in her system. It was hard to say if she was killed by a stranger or not.

Fatima had moved from Nicaragua with her brother to Belmar in August. It's wasn't really known who Fatima associated with in her short time in the U.S. She was a bit of a wild child and was staying out all hours of the night and not coming home when she was supposed to. She was hard to handle for her brother and was about to be sent back to Nicaragua to their mother's, but instead had her live with an Aunt in Asbury Park. Fatima would soon go missing after this though. It was unknown how long she was missing for

Murder of Russell Turcotte

In 2002 Russel Turcotte was enjoying a free spirit lifestyle in July he began to make his way from his week-long hippie gathering in Brainerd, Michigan to his home state of Montana to attend a family member's wedding. He would hitchhike his way there and on July 12th Russel would make it to Simonson's Gas Station in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He would call to ask for a money order so that it would help him get back sooner. He was supposed to go to the Western Union to pick it up, but he never did.

On November 5, 2002, Russel's body would be found about 100 miles away in a tree row located ten miles west of Devil's Lake and half a mile north of U.S. Highway #2. His cause of death was blunt force trauma to the back of the head. His nearly nude body was covered with brush. It was believed that he'd been dead around the time he went missing to early August.

Some believe that the ball was dropped in this case. Russel was Native American a search for him took 3 months and not 3 hours to get off the ground and only a dozen police officers were used for it instead of over a 100. It is possible that he was a victim of serial killer Joseph Edward "Jet" Duncan III, who targeted young men.

Murder of Lydia Varo-Braschler

13-year-old Lydia Varo-Braschler was visiting family in Big Lake, Washington from Wisconsin. On July 2, 2001, Lydia was irritated and went on a walk to cool off. She walked down Highway 9 towards where a convenience store in Big Lake was. She would never show up back at her aunt's home. No one knew what happened to the poor girl until April 16, 2002.

A Mushroom hunter would find Lydia's body in a 50 ft embankment off of Lake Cavanaugh Rd. Where she was found 2 miles from Highway 9. Her body had been hidden in the wooden area. She had died due to blunt force to her head.

The 2002 Abernethy Bushfire and the death of Ronald Gillett

On October 19, 2002, a fire was set behind the Cessnock racecourse in New South Wales, Australia. The fire would accelerate quickly and then split into two major fire fronts. The flames were large and dangerous as they started doing their damage in Abernathy, Kearsley, and Kitchener. 

13 homes would be destroyed and one life would be lost. Abernathy was hit that hardest. Ronald Gillett who was from Sydney was driving down Kearsley Road when his car was engulfed by the flames. He was the only casualty in the bushfire.

It's unknown who started this fire. A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.

Murder of Laura Lee Cross

In 2001 33-year-old Laura Cross was living at 18 Middle Street in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. She was last seen on July 21, 2001, and was then reported missing in August. Unfortunately, over a year later her body would be found. On October 14, 2002, around 5:30 p.m. two hunters discovered her remains off a logging road on the Old Guysborough Road near Dollar Lake Provincial Park. She had been murdered.

There is up to $150,00 leading to the conviction of the person and persons responsible.

August 15, 2002 Green County, New York Jane Doe

On August 15, 2002, the skull of a woman was found on Platte Clove Rd. in Hunter, New York. The woman is believed to have died between 1980 and 1990. She was a white female between 30 to 50 years old.

On March 22, 2002, at 3:52 a.m. a woman was hit by a train in Sierre, Switzerland. She was a woman between 35 and 50-years-old. She is 164 cm with a medium build. She had dark brown hair. She was wearing green jeans, a white and blue pinstripe shirt, a beige wool pullover, a blue coat, a green scarf, white socks, and black city shoes.

Disappearance of Alicia Andriana Gandha, Christine Claire Gandha, and Gillian Frace Gandha

5-year-old Alicia, 3-year-old Christine, and 1-year-old Gillian Gandha went missing from Covina, California. The three were last seen on Jan. 1, 2002 in Indonesia. There is little information in this case.

Murder of Herbert Blakey

On March 29, 2002, Herbert Blakely had been seen coming and going from a 1102 E. Atlantic home in Springfield, Missouri. He had been doing it up to the early morning of March 30. It isn't disclosed what he was doing coming and going from the house.

On March 30 around 2 a.m. officers responded to the house regarding a life-threatening assault. Herbert had been stabbed and was laying on the front porch. Officers administered CPR until EMS transported him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There were conflicting witness accounts of the stabbing. Police have said the people in or around the house are all suspects.

Murder of Shizuo Kado

On or about September 9, 2002, 98-year-old Shizuo Kado and his wife 94-year-old Tokuyo were at their home on 8613 10th Ave in Burnaby, British Columbia. The couple was assaulted by a person or persons. They both went to the hospital and Shizuo died at the hospital on September 14th as a result of his injuries.

Lost Advertisement: Daft Punk 200 Winter Olympics Commercial

Daft Punk is a French duo that plays rave music. The band was formed in 1993 in Paris France by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Beginning in 1999 the duo assume robot-like personas and rarely appeared in live interviews or T.V. They have created many hits including Around the World, One More Time, Get Lucky, and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. They were a part of several advertisements like for example Gap and Toonami.

Daft Punk had created an ad for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The commercial was to have featured their song Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. In 2012 a Daft Punk fan uploaded some of their commercials from home videos, but none of them included this commercial. So currently this commercial is lost.
