June 18, 1979, Baltimore, Maryland (New Jersey) John Doe

On June 18, 1979, the remains of a man were found in a pump of a dry dock in Baltimore, Maryland. The dry dock was towed from New Jersey to Baltimore in the late 1950s. This would estimate that the man had died between 1929 and 1959.

John Doe was likely white between 40 to 65 years old. He was 5'11" with a muscular robust build. He had arthritis in his knees and had mouth stress suggestive of a mind instrument player or glass blower. Two china buttons were found with the body. The buttons were likely used on suspenders and were a style of WWII.

He was found with at least 10 bags of cocaine and several hundred of dollars on him. So robbery does not seem to have been the motive.

Disappearance of Jill Lynn Rosenthal

On July 2, 1965, 21-month-old Jack Rosenthal was found abandoned outside McCrory's Variety Store on Broad Street in Atlantic City, New Jersey. At the time it was believed he was Paul Fronczak and who was kidnapped from a Chicago, Illinois hospital after birth. Jack would be raised as Paul, but he had doubts about being him. In 2015 he decided to take a DNA test and found that in fact he was not actually Paul but was born as Jack Rosenthal and he had a twin sister. In 2019 Paul was found and identified as Kevin Baty, but he died a year later.

However, no one had realized that the twins had disappeared. Neither was reported missing and seeing as Paul (Jack) was abandoned it was possible that Jill was also abandoned somewhere. There is evidence that Jill existed for example her birth certificate and people remembering the twins. Their parents had passed by the time this information was revealed.

Jill is a white female. She was 1'2" and 17 lbs at the time.

Murder of Desiree D. McGraw

On June 6, 2006, it was voting day in Deptford, New Jersey. The Jericho Firehouse on Mail Avenue was one of the places for voting. At 9:30 a.m. The place had been open for a few hours when a firefighter decided to take a walk around the building. This was when he found the body of a woman laying in a stone-covered area behind the firehouse.

It was the body of 27-year-old Desiree McGraw. She was only dressed in a 5xl black t-shire and a hoodie. She had been shot in the head and killed. This however was not the scene of the crime as there was no evidence of her being killed there and it's believed her body was dumped there.

At the time Desiree was on the streets for the last three years. At the time she was a drug addict, but in the days leading up to her death, she told her family she wanted to sober up and get her life together. She was tired of living on the streets. Even though she was living a rough lifestyle she would make sure to visit her family every other day.

Police believe that the murder had been premeditated. Desiree's family thinks that it's possible that someone was out to get her and she knew. This could be the reason she wanted to change her lifestyle in the days leading up to her death.

Urban Legends: The Golden Haired Girl

Pine Barrens, New Jersey holds many legends. One includes a blonde-haired girl wearing white mourning her lover's death. She is usually seen staring out at the sea by herself, but after a while, the Jersey Devil sometimes joins her.

Another legend says that the Jersey Devil's son, who was strangely human, fell in love with a girl. She was from a rich family and her family did not agree with their love. They would take her away and this would result in her killing herself. Heartbroken from his loss this caused him to become the next Jersey Devil just like his dad. She would become a ghost that now follows him and this is why the two are seen together.
