January 13, 1975 San Montara, California John Doe

On Jan. 13, 1975 someone discovered the torso and thighs of a boy approximately 250 yards south of Montara Light House in Montara, California. The Sheriffs and Coroners office arrived and found the body on the 13th. It was initially believed to have been the body of Paulo Tapete who had drowned with his father in December.

The body was approximately 7 to 8 years old. His race is unknown. An orange plastic piece 1/8" wide was found in the rib cage.
