Murder of KayKimia Marie Ruffin




At 7:30 p.m. on June 1, 2020, officers responded to a call of gunfire at the apartments in the 1900 block of Maryland Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. They would find 27-year-old KayKimia Ruffin unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. She would be brought to the hospital but would die 20 minutes later.
