September 5, 2011 Winona, Minnesota Baby Jane Doe

On September 5, 2011, the body of a newborn girl was found floating in a canvas bag in the Mississippi River north of the Trempealeau Dam near Winona, Minnesota. She was full-term and had been dead for hours. It's not stated what cause of death was or if she was born alive. She had brown hair and race was not determined.

The Canvas bag she was found in was tan with sailboats and a sun with the word "Manzillo" underneath. There were also items found with the girl. A bracelet with silver and blue beads with a large 8 cm glass pendant, two porcelain, and angle music box figurines, and a ceramic Precious Moments angel bell. One of the music boxes played the song "Wind Beneath My Wings". There was also a green t-shirt with a faded design on the front.
