Mark
Diane
On September 13, 1962, around 3:15 p.m. 7-year-old Diane Yoli and her little brother 2-year-old Mark were on their wat to the playground at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. At the time Mark's father was a Marine Lance Corporal and was stationed at the base.
Their parents weren't initially scared the children didn't return home on the 700 block of Butler Drive. They were considered adventurous children and tended to wander. They would become concerned though and report them missing. There was an extensive search of the area for four days, but there were no signs of the children.
A convicted sex offender Henry Morris Hunt was the only suspect in this case. He had died in 1991 at 85, and his wife died a year later. While on her death bed allegedly she would tell her daughter that Henry had picked up the children at Midway Park and went fishing. Mark accidentally drowned and he resorted to killing Diana. He then dumped the bodies at a mineshaft in Maysville.
At the time Diane is a white female and was 7-years-old at the time. She was 3'11" and 79lbs. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a white or a print blouse with white sleeves, and shorts.
Mark is a white male and was 2-years-old at the time. He was 2'6" and 30 lbs. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a t-shirt and brown shorts.
