Murder of Heidi Marie Cummings

On December 18, 2007, 51-year-old Heidi Cummings was found dead in her home in the 3500 block of Cutter in Fort Worth, Texas. It's believed that she may have known her killer and allowed them into the home where they shot her to death.

December 11, 1957 Florida City, Florida "H. Daniels"

On December 11, 1957, skeletal remains were found in a homeless camp located 100 feet south of Lucy Street and 11th Avenue in Florida City, Florida. There was no form of identification at the scene, but there was a laundry slip with the name "H. Daniels". According to the scene, it's believed that he had died from wood-alcohol poisoning as there were sterno cans found. It's believed he died weeks prior to discovery.

John Doe was a black male between 40 to 50-years-old. He was 5'5" and had black hair. He was wearing Dark colored pants and a khaki shirt. There were other pieces of clothing at the scene.

Lost Media: Lostprophets music video for Somdays

Lostprophets was a Welsh band active between 1997 to 2013. They are well known for their 2006 song "Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)". However, this band does not exist anymore due to lead singer Ian Walkin's deplorable sex crimes. The other former members are now in the band No Devotion not wanting anything to do with the former band.

It is confirmed that there was a music video planned for their song Somedays. On December 3rd, 2012 Ian tweeted from his account that he was on the way to shoot a music video for it. He and guitarist Lee Gaze were the only band members present. The rest of the members were supposed to be shown in archive footage. This however will never be released.

On December 17, 2012, Ian would be arrested and sentenced for his crimes a year later. I won't go too into his crimes but he had victims that were teenagers, children, and even toddlers and infants. He had even used drugs on some of his victims and filmed the acts with them. He pleaded guilty to 13 charges and is serving 29 years in prison. He did not take this seriously as he was recorded in a prison call referring to his crimes as "Mega Lolz". Disgusting.

Murder of Robert Allan

On December 1, 1904, 34-year-old Robert Allan was at his home at Drumshangie Farm between Greengairs and Airdrie, Scotland with his wife and 3-week-old child. This was the first night that they did not have any servants at the farm. 

Just after they went to bed some people came up to the window and disturbed them. This irritated  Robert and he opened the door holding his double-barrelled fowling piece. He fired into the sky to scare them away. This however did not happen as the people became more roudy. He went back in put on his trousers and went back out with his gun. He would fire another shot and never be seen alive again. It's believed he had followed the men down the roadway to where the trolley had been drawn.

He would be found dead on an old pit road leading from the farm to Watstown. He was lying across a track partially on his right side with one arm underneath him. His gun was a few feet away from him resting on the embankment on the road. It was found that he had been shot in the stomach. It's believed he was shot with his own gun. 

One theory was that he had stumbled in the dark and accidentally shot himself, but his guy was found several feet away and the locks of the gun were found to be empty of cartridge cases. The other is that Robert and one of the men fought over the gun and he was shot in the struggle. That the killer moved him and his gun from their original positions.

Lost Media: First music video for Alarm Call by Björk

Icelandic singer Björk released the song Alarm Call on her third album  Homogenic in 1997. It was the fourth single for the album and was ranked number 33 in the UK. This song will have two official music videos of which the first was never released.

The first music video for the song was directed by Paul White from Me Company. It was the same firm that produced the artwork for the Album and their respective singles. The music video is said to have featured Björk in a similar outfit to the one featured on the album cover. There was also said to be a dance scene in the Los Angeles subway system.

Björk was not satisfied with this music video. The second video was directed by fashion designer Alexander McQueen and was filmed in London in October 1998 in two days. Björk was satisfied with this version even stating on MTV News that the music video industry needed a "spank on the bum", and Alexander McQueen was the one to do the music video

No clips, scenes, storyboards, or such have been seen by the public from the first music. Björk also has not mentioned much from the music video. It can be assumed that the music video may not exist anymore.

Suspicious Death of Martha Mansfield

 

Martha Mansfield was determined to become an actress at the age of 14. Her first role would happen in a play of Little Women in 1912. She would act, sing and dance in some plays, and model in photographs before being signed by Essanay Studios.

On November 29, 1923, 24-year-old Martha was working at a location in San Antonio, Texas. She was playing the role of Agatha Warren in the movie The Warrens of Virginia. Because it was based in the Civil War she was wearing a costume based on the time. Which was of hoop skirts and flimsy ruffles. 

After filming was done Martha went to her car where her chauffeur was waiting. Her skirt would burst into flames. Those around tried to save her. The chauffeur tried to take her clothes off and the leading man Wilfred Lytell threw his heavy overcoat onto her. 

Both Martha and the Chaufer were burned. Martha's body was severely burned, but her face was not because of Wilfred's jacket. The Chaufer's hands were badly burned. They would be taken to the hospital. However the following day Martha would die. It was from burns of all extremities, general toxemia, and suppression of urine. 

It's unknown what exactly happened. It was known that a match was the culprit of the fire, but it was unknown who had done it. Some witnesses stated that they saw the match go through the window. Others theorized that Martha was trying to smoke and accidentally dropped the match. However, her mother stated that she didn't smoke and that it in fact made it uncomfortable.

November 22, 1957 Dublin, Virginia Baby John Does

 On November 22, 1957, the bodies of two infant boys were found in a box recently buried in an unmarked grave near a cemetery in Dublin, Virginia. It is not stated how the boys had died or when they died. It's possible that the two were twins.

The baby John Does were both African American Infants. The boys were 18 inches long and one was 5 lbs and the other was 4 lbs.

November 15, 1924 Yuma, Arizona John Doe

 On November 15, 1924, in Yuma, Arizona a man would die from Suffocating from Cotton Seed it's not listed if it was accidental or not.  He was buried at the Yuma Pioneer Cemetery in Yuma.

John Doe is a white male around 45-years-old.

Murder of Jesa "Toni" Corazza

 

In 1934, 17-year-old Jesa "Toni" Corazza was a dancer and lived on Randor St in the Chelsea area of London, England. She acquired certain fame in theaters and even had a part in one or two films. By October she would become pregnant and did not want to keep it. At this time abortion was illegal in England and would seek help and have one illegally. On October 28, 1934, Toni would miscarry and be sent to St. Luke Hospital in London, England. 

Toni denied that she had an abortion and claimed that she fell dancing, but there was evidence of an instrument used by someone accustomed to this type of work. It was also found that she was taking pills to induce a miscarriage and they were hidden inside a matchbook inside her purse.

 

Toni would develop acute blood poisoning due to the instrument used in the surgery. She would not admit to either who the father was or who had given her the abortion. She would even say that she may have slipped on accident while dancing as an excuse for her condition. She passed away on November 13th due to heart failure caused by the blood poisoning. 

Her mother said that she didn't know if anyone had interfered with her daughter. She stated that Toni tried to tell her something as she was dying, but she couldn't be understood. 

A jury would find a verdict of murder against some person or persons unknown was returned.

Lost Media: The Hypnotic Experiment Screamer

On November 11, 2006, the YouTube channel VeneralbeDread uploaded the video The Hypnotic Experiment. This video was a screamer video and is now considered lost media. As the channel was deleted taking the screamer with it. 

The video begins with the simple instructions of asking to watch at full volume and for the viewers to focus on the center of a moving spiral on the screen. However, 35 seconds in a picture of an eye and a loud scream would happen. The view was tricked by a screamer and it was followed by a message from the creator, "Did I scare you? If so, you have been pranked, AGAIN! MWAHAHAHAHA".

November 8, 1981, the skeletal remains were found scattered in an old dumpsite near Danville, Virginia. It's believed that he had died likely in 1959.

John Doe was a Black male and was between 40 to 60 years old. He was 5'2" to 5'7". He was wearing a large dark-colored cotton T-shirt.

 On November 1, 1872, the body of a woman was found at the Navy Yard in Kings County, New York. He cause of death was drowning. There is little information in this case.

October 30, 2019 Concord, New Hampshire Jane Doe.

In 2019 a woman came to the the New Hampshire State Police and handed over a human cranium. She told them that her husband had found the partial skull in the 1930s in a pond in Concord. It was found that the skull belonged to a teenage girl between 15 and 18 years old. Bomb Pulse Testing on the skull showed that she did die before 1942.

Jane Doe was between 15 and 18 years old.

October 25, 1874 Jo Daviess County, Illinois

On October 25, 1874, the body of an elderly woman was found beneath the bridge that spans the Big Menominee about four miles south of Dunleith, Illinois. She must have been walking on the bridge at night and was struck and killed by the train that left Dunlieth at 7p.m. Her body had been mangled by the train. It's believed that "Her clothing denoted a person in the humble walks of life". 

She was believed to have been in her mid 60's. Her hair was grey. In her pockets was a string of prayer beads, and around her neck was a scapular.

October 24, 1958, Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin John Doe

On October 24, 1958, teenagers would find the cranium of a man resting on the ground while hunting near Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. It was noted to be sitting in an area of dirt devoid of plant growth and leaves, although the surrounding area had thick ground cover of grass, foliage, and leaf litter.

John Doe was believed to be 23 to 57 years old.

Murder of Marshal Willam E. Gibson

 

In 1882 Irish-born man 51/52 year-old Willam E. Gibson was a town Marshal for Horicon, Wisconsin. On October 19, 1882, he arrested a stranger for disorderly conduct. The man since he arrived spent most of his time drinking at the saloon and was drunk when arrested. The man was only in town for a couple of days and was believed to be a tramp.  William being a little careless and thinking the man only had one weapon did not check the other pocket.  

The man did not resist or fight to go to jail. When William let go of the man to unlock the door to the cell the man would pull a bulldog a 40-caliber revolver from his left pocket and shoot the him. He would flee from his crime.

It had taken around an hour before anyone knew that William had been shot. At the same time, there was a major fire at the Brunt & Davis Co. factory. The village's attention was focused on the fire which allowed the unknown man to flee the area.

The man had been in town for a day or two there were no clear descriptions of him. Even though there was a wide search for him he wasn't found. He had likely stolen a horse from the stables of Fred Puls about two miles east outside of Horicon and fled. If he was he would have been a victim of a lynching. It was believed that he may have been wanted for a bigger crime than public drunkness and that was why he shot Marshal Gibson.

The killer was never caught for this murder.

Murder of John Caylor

On the night of October 10, 2003, John Caylor went to a party at a home on Waltonian Road in Harmony, New York. It seemed like a normal party and no one openly noted anything weird about it. John's brother was supposed to come pick him up from the party and would call him a few times in the early morning hours. However, his brother was asleep at the time and missed the call. 

Later that morning at the residence where the party was John's body would be found in the front yard. It was found that he had been beaten with a blunt object, and strangled. 

According to a news article, John did argue with someone at the party. There was a lot of drinking going on and no one said what the fight was about if it was about anything. The person of interest was never publically identified, but they did make statements that made him suspicious. The suspect died several years later making the case probably never going to be officially solved.

Mexican Knife Duel is a 60-second 1894 black-and-white short silent film. The film was from Edison Studios and produced by William K.L. Dickson and William Heise was the cinematographer. It was filmed in Edison's Black Maria Studio and featured the fighting skills of Mexican Vaqueros, Pedro Esquivel, and Dionecio Gonzales. The film was released on October 6, 1864.

Cryptids: Fjorulalli also known as the Shore Laddie, or Beach Walker

The Fjorulalli also known as the Shore Laddie, or Beach Walker is a creature seen along the coasts of the Westfjords of Iceland. It is said that locals of the Westfjords will see the Fjorulalli come from the ocean to the shore. It's said that these creatures will breed with sheep resulting in deformed lambs. 

The Fjorulalli is the size of a ram and has brownish-grey fur and either webbed feet or hooves. It seems as if mussels and barnacles grow on its fur allowing it to scrape or jingle as it walks. Making it easy for those around to hear it.

On September 24, 1989, the body of 51-year-old Edward Crabtree was found behind L&N Hotel near Henley St and Western Ave in Knoxville, Tennessee. He had been killed from being hit on the right side of the head with a blunt object. It's believed that the motive was robbery as his pocket was turned out and his wallet laid 60 ft from his body.

Murder of Judith Wolfe

About 2:30 am on September 17, 2006, 66-year-old Judith Wolfe was inside the car she was living in with her cat Buttons. She parked and sat in her car at  2100 S. 101st E. Ave in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A man would open the driver's door and enter the car attacking Judith. He would punch her in the face and then push her into the floorboard and further attacked. 

She at one point got out of the vehicle and was lying in the street covered in a blanket. Her cat Buttons was found with her, but the vehicle was gone. Soon after someone would find her and call 911. Judith was alive and told police what had happened, but unfortunately died on the 28th. 

Her vehicle was found backed into a spot at the Shoreline Apartments nearby.

La Berta

In Florence, Italy at the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore there is a strange feature named "La Berta". La Berta is a figure of a woman's head and stands out of place on the side of the church. There isn't much information on La Berta, but she's been there since medieval times. It's unsure why she was placed there, but there are theories or tales on how and why she's there. 

The most common lore is that the La Berta was petrified on September 16, 1327, and was cursed by Cecco d’Ascoli, an astrologer. His execution was a spectacle as people in groups were watching his procession. Some were watching from windows and balconies. On this day Cecco d'Ascoli was on his way to being executed and burned at the stake for heresy. In the procession, they would go through Via dei Cerretani, and he stopped to ask for some water. 

Berta was standing in the church window and told everyone to deny him water. She claimed he was an alchemist communicating with the Devil using water. That the devil would try to grant him immunity to his crimes and would be saved. During his execution he stared at the woman and cursed at her in Anger "You will never lift your head from there" The woman would petrify there.

Another and more logical theory is that the head is a memorial to a benefactor who had donated a bell to the church. The woman who donated was a greengrocer who had a fruit stall there. She did this so that the bell was used to chime whenever the city gates opened and closed. This may explain why she's positioned on the bell tower wall.

It's also theorized that she is actually was a Roman sculpture that was used as decoration.

Murder of Johnnie Dean Williams

On September 15, 1972, Johnnie Williams would visit with his wife and newborn daughter at the hospital. That evening he would spend the night out taking $800 with him to a club in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Knowing that Johnnie was going to the club she would call them around midnight to talk to him. However, he wasn't there. On September 18th Johnnie's wife would report him missing as no one had seen him for days. 

On the 24th a farmer would be working his fields east of 1800 N Mingo. In the field Johnnie's body would be found. He had been beaten and then shot between the eyes. It's believed he was robbed as there was no money on him and his pockets were turned inside out.

Murder of Kimberly Steele

On September 14, 2011, a home at 123 Town & Country Lane in Searcy, Arkansas was on fire. The mobile home belonged to 46-year-old Kimberly Steele and she had not been seen for two days at this point. It was determined that the home was set on fire in multiple places and there was no sign of Kimberly. Her two dogs were killed in the fire. A small blue car was seen at the residence shortly before the fire was noticed. Since there were no signs of Kimberly after the fire her parents reported her missing on the 15th. 

That same day Kimberly's body would be found. She was found in Prairie County at the Wattensaw Refuge. She has been shot in the head and her body caught on fire.

WANTED: Jeffery Dean McDaniel

 

In September of 1998, Jeffrey McDaniel left Placer County, California with his 13-year-old  female relative. Her whereabouts were unknown until September of 2000 when she was found in Mexico. According to her Jeffery had traveled through California and Nevada and ended up in Mexico. He had continued to sexually assault the girl which resulted in pregnancy. 

His whereabouts remain unknown. On February 28, 2001, an arrest warrant was issued for McDaniel after he was charged with child custody deprivation. A federal arrest warrant was issued in May of 2001, and McDaniel was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

He may still be in Mexico. He may be working in the computer industry. He has intrust in the tattoo industry. 

Jeffrey McDaniels was born on March 14, 1967. He is a white male. He is 5'11" and 190 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has the following tattoos: several skulls, one wearing a helmet, and 3" roses on vines on his chest; a solar system design featuring multicolored planets from his wrist to his elbow on his left forearm; an Egyptian pharaoh on his right bicep; a door hinge on the inside of his right elbow; old swastikas on both forearms (blacked over, but still visible); a dagger on his left wrist with "S" and "J" on either side of it; lightning bolts on the fingers of his left hand; a green wedding band on his left ring finger over the word "Michelle"; a dot on the web of his right hand; "X" inside a circle on the inside of the web of his left hand; a snake winding through a skull on his right calf; "Shelly" above his right knee; "MBM" in Old English letters above his left knee; and the image of Fred Flintstone elsewhere on his body.

Murder of Flora Alice Fisher

On July 24, 1904, 27-year-old Flora Fisher complained of her insides hurting. The next day she would get a consultation from 3 doctors. Flora stated that she didn't know what caused her illness. 

On September 5, 1904,  Flora was taken to Westminster Hospital in London, England. She would soon after die from sepsis caused by an illegal abortion. It was obvious that these were not self-inflicted and that someone had done this to her. 

Her husband was informed and it was said in newspapers that he seemed surprised. He had no idea and that he and Flora were not the type of people to do something like that.

Murder of Carlton Mosley

On September 3, 2000, Carlton Mosley was in a vehicle in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Bakersville, California, Carlton was struck by gunfire and died from a shot to the back of the head.

September 1, 1876 Oyster Bay, New York John Doe

 In early September of 1876, a body was found washed up on High Hill Beach in Oyster Bay, New York. The man had been in the water for two or three days and had been murdered. His head and right arm had been cut off roughly. He was found wearing good quality clothing, but there was nothing to identify him. He was buried on the beach where he washed up. His death date is labeled as September 1st.

Disappearance of Colleen Kay (Carpenter) Burgess

 On August 31, 1974, 25-year-old Colleen Burgess would leave her work in Englewood, Colorado. She would not be seen afterward. She had left in her green 1967 Chevrolet Nova. Around a week later her family received a letter believed to be from her stating she had a terminal illness and didn't want them to watch her suffer. After this, there was no contact. 

Colleen is a white female and was 25 years old at the time. She is 5'6" to 5'7" and 130 to 135 lbs. She has Red Auburn hair and hazel eyes.

Murder of Ronald Fetherson

At 8:38 pm on August 30, 2009, 911 was called to the apartment of 53-year-old Ronald Fetherson in Apartment 56-G at 1207 Truman Street in Durham, North Carolina. Inside Ronald was found in his living room stabbed to death and his body mutilated. 

Neighbors stated that Ronald was last seen around 8 pm the night before. His dog was also barking the whole night. It was initially believed that he had lived alone, but people told them that he had a roommate that he may have recently fought with recently.

It's Alleged that between June of 2007 through December of 2009, he was involved in the trafficking of child pornography, via computers, in the New York City area. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Ramirez in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, on March 7, 2011, after he was charged with possession and receipt of child pornography.

Murder of Virgilio Aguilera

At approximately 7:17 p.m. on August 23, 2020, unknown persons did a drive-by shooting on 5314 Brandenberry Drive in Columbus, Ohio. At the time 52-year-old Virgilio Aguilera was in the area and struck by one of the rounds. He would be brought to the hospital but passed away two hours later. 

It's not stated if Virgilio was the target.

Arlington Park Serial Pooper

By August 2016  a serial pooper would leave gifts at Ft. Barnard Park playground in Arlington, Virginia at least 4 to 5 times that year. Two of which happened in August. They poop around the play equipment and sometimes cover them with t-shirts so that curious kids or adults would end up picking them up and finding their surprise.  

The serial pooper does it at night. Their poop is left around the play equipment. It's never in off-to-the-side places like bushes or by trees. 

Arlington County Police said they are stepping up patrols at the time in the park in the hopes. They were hoping in catching the serial pooper and charging them with misdemeanor urinating and defecating in public. However, no one was caught as the serial pooper.

Murder of Roy Franklin Wishon

At 5:03 pm on August 21,1976, Someone called a police officer to the area of 200 Burtner St in Greensboro, North Carolina about the smell of decomposition in a wooded area. This was when the body of Roy Wishon was found. He had been beaten to death. He had been for 4 to 5 days as his body was seen there around that time but was mistaken as someone sleeping.

On August 20, 1996, 16-year-old Eric Sermon went to a park with two friends in Chino, California. They would leave the park, but Eric would not return home. There is little information in this case.

Murder of Heaven LaShae "Shae" Ross

On the morning of August 19, 2003, 11-year-old Heaven "Shae" Ross left her home in Northport, Alabama to her bus stop a few minutes after her sister. A few minutes after that thunder was heard and their step-father being concerned for the girls decided to pick them up at the bus stop and take them to school instead. However Heaven's sister was there, but Heaven never arrived. Someone had abducted her in the few minutes after she left her home.

On December 19, 2006, a man would be looking for cans at an abandoned home off Crescent Ridge Rd in Holt. He would find her body underneath the house. The house was a known place for people to use drugs and do illegal activities. It is a hard-to-find place and would have been hard to stumble upon.

On August 17, 1983, 72-year-old Steven Muchok was last leaving his home in West Islip, New York in a brown 1976 Lincoln Continental. The vehicle was later found. There is little info about this case. 

Steven is a white male and was 72 years old at the time. He's 5'7" and 140 lbs. He has grey or greying hair and hazel eyes. He has a scar on his back and missing his bottom teeth. He was wearing a light blue long-sleeve shirt, a pair of dark blue pants, and black shoes.

She had many songs that were on Myspace that were eventually uploaded to YouTube, but one that was now was the song "Not That Ugly" which was released on August 16, 2008. The song was around 1 minute and 59 seconds long and was a free download. However, this is now lost due to Myspace deleting  15 million songs. It is possible that this song may be sitting somewhere waiting to be rediscovered.

On August 15, 1976, the body of a man was found at the bottom of an embankment off Rock Quarry Road in Columbia, Missouri. The remains were badly decomposed with some mummification it was believed he died between 1975 to 1976. 

John Doe is a White male between 26 to 32 years old. He was 5'6" to 5'8" and 130 to 150 lbs. He had brown hair. His nails were closely clipped. He was wearing a pair of plaid, double knit trousers/pants, 28" waist, and a brown belt.

Disappearance of Sharon Maxwell

On August 15, 1976, 19-year-old Sharon Maxwell was last seen with two other individuals on the 2000 block of W. 22nd Place, in Chicago Illinois. She left the residence and never returned. There is little information in this case.

Murder of Amos Brown, Jr

On August 13, 2010, Amos Brown, Jr. was in a car on Lexington Avenue near El Coqui Grocery in Norwalk, Connecticut. He would be shot in the back of the head. Three young men would be seen fleeing in a silver or gray Chevrolet Malibu. Amos would pass away at the hospital 2 years later. 

Three men seen fleeing the scene were black males in their teens or early 20s. 

Some believe that his death was retaliation for the self-defense death of Tykwan Hunt. Tykwan was a member of a local gang called the Money Greens.

Murder of Chester L. Carruthers

 

On August 13, 1976, 15-year-old Chester Carruthers' mother reported her son missing in Harrison, Maine. She had not seen him for around 2 weeks when she reported him missing. 

On May 13, 1981, a dog would be found carrying a skull a quarter of a mile from Chester's home. Chester's remains would be found buried in a wooded area behind a home off of Route 35. It was found that he had been shot in the head.

 On August 12, 1982, 33-year-old Edward "EJ" "Eddie" Felps was last seen in New Caney, Texas. There is little information in this case.

Disappearance of Tilwanda "Tiwana" Denise Cheatham

On August 11, 1989, 8-year-old Tilwanda Cheatham was angry with her mother because she made her come home while visiting her relatives. Tilwanda would take change from a jar in their kitchen. She then left her home on Jack Jones St. in Aiken, South Carolina. At 5:30 pm she was seen by two neighbors at the Quik Stop a few blocks from her home. However, this was the last time she was seen.

It's unknown what had happened to Tilwanda, but her Grandmother was suspected of knowing. She was arrested and charged with obstructing justice in the case. Police stated that her grandmother had lied to police many times as if trying to cover up what had happened. However, she is not suspected of causing the disappearance. It is possible that Tilwanda was living with relatives, but there were no leads in that theory. She also had a habit of running away from home. She may have been kidnapped.

Some sources have her name as Tiwana.

Tilwanda is a black female and was 8 years old at the time. She was 4'1" and 70 lbs at the time. She has black hair and brown eyes. At the time her hair was in braids. She has a dark patch of skin on either her left arm or left leg. At the time she was wearing a white top, red flower shorts, and white tennis shoes.

Murder of Jennifer Larsen

On the night of August 9, 1995, 21-year-old Jennifer Larsen went to a friend's party at their home in Aurora, Colorado. Around 3 am to 4 am, her friend and a man would leave the home. This was the last time anyone saw her alive. Her father would report her missing on the 13th. A week later her car was located at an apartment complex about one mile from her friend's home by the same two people who saw her last. 

It wasn't for a couple of months that a farmer would find a skeleton in a sunflower field in Strasburg. It was identified as Jennifer. She was found lying in her back and it was determine to have been a homicide.

Murder of Kirsty Jones

In 2020 23-year-old Kristy Jones was a Welsh citizen who loved back packing. She had done it before and planned to do it again. She would go to several Asian countries on vacation. She had already been to Singapore and Malaysia before she went to Thailand in early August. She would check into a hostel room in Chiang Mai, Thailand. On her trip she went trekking in the mountains, sightseeing, and met people. This would be the second time she would backpack in Thailand. 

On August 10, 2000, Kristy would be murdered in her hostel room. She had been sexually assaulted and strangled to death.

Thailand has a 20-year statute of limitations on murder. So on August 10, 2020, the case was officially closed. In this case, no one can be prosecuted even if the murderer was found. There were several suspects in this case, but no evidence that could convict any of them.

The Popobawa

The Popobawa (translates to bat-wing) is a legendary creature from the Tanzanian island of Pemba. It is known for its nocturnal assaults on people and is especially fierce towards those skeptical of its existence. The Popobawa is described as a shapeshifter with one of its forms being a bat-like figure. It has been the catalyst for mass hysteria several times in Tanzania. 1995 was particularly spread from Pemba to Unguja, Zanzibar Archipelago. Again there was brief hysteria in both 2000 and 2007. 

During the day Popobawa looks like an ordinary human, but when night falls he acquires a different form. He has a hunched human-like form with grey skin, long, pointed ears, a wide smile with fangs, a single eye in the middle of the forehead, and wings so big that they can wrap around him like a cape. It's described as being able to change form, sometimes being able to blend into darkness. It also emits a smell of sulfur. 

The Popobawa's single eye possesses a paralyzing effect on anyone who looks into it. It uses this ability to instill fear into the hearts of victims. The Popobawa then will gain access to the home instigating a lasting sense of dread. It would also attack anyone in the home including children. The attacks include physical and sexual assault or a poltergeist-like phenomenon. 

Because the Popobawa was known for repeat visits people could protect themselves from Popobawa by staying awake throughout the night outdoors, usually around fires with other people.
