Murder of Maria Reyes


At 6:45 a.m. on Jan. 4, 2002 the body of 21-year-old Maria Reyes was found in a dirt field in Chino Hills, California by an off duty police officer. She had been stabbed to death and a 1990's brown Chevy van with 4 Hispanic males was seen near the field at the time of the homicide.

Maria was last seen the day before between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. walking down 6th Street in Santa Ana towards her Garden Grove home.
