Disappearance of Christine Lester

On May 5, 1987, 24-year-old Christine Lester left her home in Indian Wells, Arizona at 6 a.m. to get to the Flagstaff Mall in Flagstaff 120 miles away. She had also cashed her check and had $300 with her. She and a friend were supposed to hitchhike there. Her uncle gave her a ride for two miles to Arizona 77 and this was the last time she was seen.

The woman that she claimed to supposed to have met that day said that they had no plans. Christine is a shy religious woman who rarely left home. It was unlikely that she ran away.

Christine is a Native American and a part of the Navajo Nation woman and was 24 at the time. She's 5'3" to 5'4" and 120lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She suffers from epilepsy and takes prescription medication to control her condition. The medicine was left behind.
