Murder of Jennifer "Moonbeam" Hammond

In the later part of August of 2003 18-year-old Jennifer Hammond, known as Moonbeam by friends, was selling magazines. Her coworkers would drop her off at the Creek and Pines Trailer Park in Ballston Spa, New York. Her coworkers would come back later that day and she did not show up to her designated pickup location. This was the last time she was seen alive.

Jennifer who was from Littleton, Colorado had made arrangements for a bus ticket to Colorado from Albany. Her ticket was never picked up and her belongings were left behind at a hotel in Albany. Her family never heard from her again since that August.

On October 25, 2009, her skull would be located in a wooded area off of Lake Desolation Rd in the Town of Greenfield, New York. The rest of her remains were not found and her murder is still unsolved.
