Murder of Sherry Fuson

On the night of Jan. 12, 1976, 24-year-old Sherry Fuson stayed home to watch her three kids. Her husband went out that night to a pool tournament. Someone would enter their home on the 800 block of SE 32nd Ave, in Portland, Oregon, and attack her.

She would be beaten, and she would fight back her attacker. She would then be shot to death in the hallway on the second floor. It was noted that she had 10 significant blunt force trauma injuries to her face and defensive wounds.

The children were unharmed and were hiding in their rooms during the vicious attack. In the early morning hours, her husband would return and found Sherry in the hallway.

It was known that Sherry had worked at serval massage parlors as a prostitute. She never brought her work home though.
