August 26, 1983 Cumberland County, Tennessee John Doe



The body of a young man was found on August 26, 1983, on Sycamore Lane near Crossville, Tennessee. He had been dead for a week and had been too decomposed to be recognizable. He was a victim of murder.

He was an African American male between the ages of 17 and 25. He was 5'8" and 160 to 170 lbs. He had black hair and brown eyes. He had a small gap between his two front teeth and several fillings. He was likely a smoker.

He was wearing a large Grey apple T-shirt (made in Canada) that says "I'M Her's BECAUSE SHE DESERVES THE BEST" and  Blue Jeans size W29/L32. He was carry around a pack of Kools filtered cigarettes and American Airlines JR Wings.

He had Fingerprints, DNA and Dentals on file.
