Murder of Andrew Podpinka

In May of 1955, Andrew Podpinka was born in Sobotka, Poland. In May of 1979, he married his wife who was pregnant with their child. In Jan. of 1983 the family immigrated to Perth, Western Australia, Australia. It wasn't until 1986 when Andrew achieved an Australian Citizen status. His wife achieved hers in March the next year.

Around 1:30 P.M. on 4 March 1999, Andrew's wife and daughter left their home on Hannans St., Morley to go shopping. The 43-year-old decided to stay at home alone. At 2:45 a neighbor had seen Andrew standing in front of his home. 

Around 3:45 his wife and daughter had come back home. This was when they found Andrew's body laying on the floor of the main bedroom of their home. He had been stabbed multiple times.
