Murder of Christine Susan Munro

On June 24, 1995, 37-year-old Christine Munro's body was found along the Sacramento River Trail, in Redding, California. One source stated that her throat had been slashed. She had been jogging that morning and had been attacked and killed.

Micheal Vielbig confessed to killing Christine in 1997 after going to jail for rape and attempted murder. At the time he also claimed to kill three other people. He was a suspect before his confession. There is not enough evidence to convict him.
