Murder of Jerry Lee Stamper


On the morning of June 30, 2001, around midnight 24-year-old Jerry Stamper made a small purchase at the 7-11 on 3421 E. Tropicana in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was on foot and walked a short distance to the apartment complex on 3190 Tarpon Dr. Around 1:15 a.m. a security guard discovered 24-year-old Jerry Stamper. He was lying unconscious on the ground with his face bloody. When Paramedics arrived Jerry already died from the wound on his head. It appeared that the motive was robbery as his wallet laid empty beside him.
