Much like any other kids in Grandview Height, Ohio Michael Dean Klitch was enjoying his summer vacation.On June 28th 1971 12 year old Michael Klitch told his mother that he was going to the tennis court to practice. He had left the house between 2:00 and 2:10. His mother was going to pick him up from the tennis court around 3:30 -3:40.
There was no evidence of a struggle on the court and when police found a unique brand of tennis ball. Michael’s father claimed that it was Michael’s and that he was particular about keeping his stuff together. He wasn’t known to forget his tennis equipment. A maid at the luxury high rise Summit Chase apartments across the street saw a boy matching Michael's description playing on the tennis court by himself.
Two weeks later on Sunday July 11th a man, his sister and two children found something they never expected to in Galena, Ohio.The four went into the woods to pick berries and bring the kids to a quarry to skip rocks on the pond. The four stumbled upon an old partially burned shed and peaked in and finds something terrifying inside.
The body of a young boy who was also partially charred and was badly decomposed was inside. Near the shed was some items like his glasses, shoes and tennis racket. The body was later to be identified as Michael Dean Klitch.
It is believed that the shed was not the place where the murder had happened. There was no evidence of sexual assault of the boy, but he was to decomposed that they couldn’t tell. The poor boy was stabbed multiple times in the left area of his chest. The killer attempted to burn the body inside of the shed. Two empty lighter fluid cans were found near the shed. It is believed this is what they used to start the fire.

He was raped and murdered by a passing transient. The fucker never thought the boy would be found. Thus the fire.
