July 12, 2001 Detroit, Michigan John Doe



On July 12, 2001, in Detroit Michigan, a body was found within hours of death. A 25-45-year-old African American Male was found charred in an abandoned building on Hazelridge St. It is believed that John Doe may have been homeless for at least 3 months. Neighbors reported that he had been squatting in the building for three months. The fire set in this is believed to be arson.

There is no photo for this John Doe it could be due to his injuries. This John Doe is African American and is believed to be between 25 and 45 years old. He is estimated to be 69 in or 5’7 and is estimated to be around 180 lbs. It is not known if he had head hair due to the fire. But it could be assumed he was either bald and or had black hair. His eye color also could not be determined. It is unknown what he was wearing either the only evidence of clothes was pants zippers found during an x-ray of the body.

He does have dentals available, but no DNA or fingerprints.
