Feb. 2, 1997 Tarrant County John Doe


On February 02, 1997 the skeletal remains of a young man was found beneath a tree in a wooded area near Oakland Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas. A rope with a noose was found with in the tree and his death was determined to be a suicidal hanging. It was determined he may had been there for at least a year.

The young man was believed to be a biracial or African American man between the ages of 15 to 20. It it is estimated that he was 5'5 to 5'9 and estimated to be 140 lbs. He had black hair, but his eye color could not be determined.

He had several items with his body. He was wearing an XL blue Duckhead Brand Shirt, black Levi Jeans W31, L32 Nike Tenacity shoes. These shoes were manufactured on 3/5/1995. He also had a Golden Pearl brand watch.

He has DNA available, but fingerprints and dentals are not.
