April 16, 1974 Marlborough, New Hampshire Jane Doe



On April 16, 1974, the body of a woman was found off of Route 124 in Marlborough, New Hampshire. She could have been dead up to a year, but more than likely towards the latter part of 1973.

It was known she was a female 19 to 30 years old her race is unknown. She was 5'3" and was described as stocky. Her hair was either dark or reddish brown and about 12 to 15 inches long. She was wearing mismatched socks, one blue striped and the other grey, a  Matt Andrews Sportswear light brown corduroy coat with white fleece, a blue/grey knit fabric jacket with zippered front and insulated hood, a  brand Royal Beach size medium blue/white/red plaid flannel shirt, she was also wearing pants they were work trousers from the brand Carter with the notation "Issued by authority of United Garments Workers of America. She was also wearing a Dufold size 8 blue and green flowered print insulated work shirt, insulated underwear trousers also with a blue and green flowered print size 18 from Dufold. Also blue panties with thin elastic band and red decorative sewing on sides.

Her clothes indicate it may have been winter or cold when she had died.
