Disapearance of Mary Mabel Hudgins

On October 20, 1954, Mary "Mabel" Hudgins and her husband got into an argument. Her husband left their home on the 5000 block of Fredrick Street in Santa Cruz, California. When he had gotten back Mary was gone and their children were left alone. She had taken $100 with her and left a note stating "You can go on alone."  Mary was 7 months pregnant when last seen.

Her parents lived in Canada at the time. I could be possible she had traveled that way. According to her husband, she was in poor mental health at the time.

Mary was 23 at the time. She typically went by her middle name but had gone by several nicknames, May, Mae, and Mary Mabel. She is a biracial female mixed with Caucasian and Native American. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was around 5'6" to 5'8" and around 140 to 150 lbs. She had a mole on her chin.
