Disappearance of Emmanuel Bonnissant

Around 3 to 3:30 on Feb. 16, 1996, Emmanuel Bonnissant was last seen at the railway station in Rennes, France. He was supposed to go to his girlfriend's home and spend 8 days. He never arrived at the Rounen Station. He had told his friends he was leaving the train to post a birthday card to his brother.

Prior to this Emmanuel had joined the Marine Nationale hoping to sail on a military ship. He was instead stationed on the ground at Aeronaval base of Landivisieu. He had sent a letter to his former girlfriend that he wanted to end his life. It is possible that Emmanuel had gone somewhere and ended his life.
