On September 21, 1966, 33-year-old Kenneth Schmit traveled from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to North Battleford. He called his wife (she was in Prince Albert) and told her that he was going fishing with his friend Horace Green. He stated that he was going to also look into purchasing a car.
Around 6 p.m. Kenneth and Horrace would go to the home of a Mr. Romphf in Saint Walburg. At 10:30 pm on September 22, 1966, Kenneth had left the residence after having a fight with Mr. Romphf. He would never be seen again after this.
There were no known reasons for him to disappear. He was in good health and was enjoying his happy home life. Since his disappearance, no checks or his card were used since his disappearance. The area would search the area multiple times. The area he disappeared from was heavily wooded and marshy and had bears in the area.
Kenneth is a white male and was 33-years-old at the time. He's 173 cm (5'8") and 70 kg (155lbs). He has black hair and hazel eyes. At the time he had a heavy beard.
