Murder of Robert Taylor
On September 19, 1997, Robert Taylor left a cab on the 200 block of E. Springfield Ave. in Champaign, Illinois. While walking away an unknown suspect would ambush him from behind and battered him. They would then steal his wallet and leave him there to die. Robert was taken to the hospital but would die days later.
