On March 2, 1996, around 3 a.m. 23 year old Joseph Bruce Massey and his friend 25 year old Micheal Ford were in an altercation with unknown suspects driving a red and black Ford full-sized Bronco, a sliver and grey Ford Contour, and a red and white Bronco. The male in the red and black Bronco started the altercation in which suspect pulled a gun.
Both Joseph and Micheal were shot. Joseph was the passenger of the vehicle and died due to being shot in the head. Micheal was injured but did not die. They were shot near 5th and H street in Anchorage, Alaska.
