In the first week of November in 1984 Karen "Cricket" Davis Disappeared from the housing projects in Pheonix, Arizona. Her family had no idea what had happened to her. Her children had gone to live with relatives, and it was unknown what had happened to their mother for a long time.
On March 2, 1985 Karen's skeletal remains were found around 8:40 a.m. in the desert area southeast of intersection Scottsdale Rd. and Jomax Rd in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her disappearance and the finding of her remains were not put together until years later. She had remained unidentified for over 20 years and was Identified in August of 2005.
She had died from a gunshot wound.
