Disappearance of David Michael Borer

On April 26, 1989, around 5 p.m.  8-year-old David Borer was last seen walking to Mile Marker 82 on Parks Highway 11 miles north of his hometown of Willow, Alaska. He was either walking to a friend's home or to go play at a sandbar at the nearby Kashwitna River. At the time the river was iced over. When he never returned home.

There was no hole in the ice of the river, but the center wasn't iced over. It's shallow, but the current is swift. Dogs followed his scent to Parks Highway, but no signs of him anywhere else. David was a 1st grader but was an independent child. He once hitchhiked 20 miles to Wasilla. Foul play may be involved in this case.

David is a white male and was 8-years-old at the time. He 4'0" and 60 lbs  He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He has small scar under his right eye and a scar above his left eye. His front tooth protuded slightly
