November 9, 2019 Battle Creek, Nebraska Doe

On November 9, 2019, a family was walking along the Elkhorn River in Battle Creek, Nebraska. They would find a skull on the edge of the water partially covered in sand. Other bone fragments were found in the area, but it was unknown if it was human or not. This area had been in the middle of the river channel until recently when the area flooded and the river changed course.

It's stated the skull belonged to an adolescent (10-19).
