Disappearance of Jeffery Michael Bratcher
On June 15, 1974, 7-year-old Jeffery Michael Bratcher and his siblings were visiting his dad and stepmother in Ocean Shores, Washington. On this day Jeffery was seen playing with 5 other kids in a section of the park. They were supposed to go to the picnic area at 7p.m. for supper.
When it was time to leave Jeffery told the other kids he was going to take a different trail back to the picnic area. He never arrived in the area. An extensive police search was done at the park. They had search dogs they lead them to the edge of the entrance of the park.
It's believed that Jeffery was either kidnapped or had fallen into the ocean and be swept away.
Jeffery is a white male and was 7 at the time. He was 3'9" and 45 lbs. He had straight sandy blonde hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue denim jacket, a white football jersey with the number 33, multi-plaid pants, blue denim sailors cap, and white sneakers with no socks.
