On June 14, 1993, around 1:30 a.m. the body of 32-year-old Eli Killsnight was found on the loading dock of St. Vincent De Paul thrift store in downtown Billings, Montana. He had been beaten to death and died due to his skull being crushed by a large rock and an air conditioner. The night before and early that morning Eli had been at at least two bars.
