Murder of Lamon Wright

On April 7, 2003, 30-year-old Lamon Wright dropped her daughter off at daycare and then returned to her Waldorf, Maryland home on Hadley Drive. Her other daughter was waiting for her in the home. As she was entering her home at 7:07 a.m. a man fired a handgun at her. She was shot at least once in the head and then died later at the hospital.

One article lists that witnesses could only vaguely describe a 6 ft man wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt.
