Lost Film: Alice Adams (1923)




Alice Adams is a U.S. silent film drama directed by Rowland V. Lee and produced by King Vidor. It was released on April 8, 1923, and Distributed by Associated Exhibitors. It's based on the novel of the same name by Booth Tarkington. This film is considered lost.


PLOT:

Alice Adams is not satisfied with her family's financial situation. She makes up a personality and tries to convince others that she comes from a wealthy family. She tries to impress and make a wealthy young man, Arthur Russell, fall for her. Unsatisfied with whom she became in the end she goes to work and helps her father's failing business.
