At approximately 7:48 p.m. on April 15, 2013, police would arrive at the apartment of 63-year-old Howard Smallwood on 9 Golden Acres Drive in Claymont, Delaware. He was found unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds. He would soon pass away at the scene.
