Carl Guinn was a cattle broker and on July 4, 1983, he went to look at some cattle and went to a location off of Gap Springs Rd. in Bradley County, Tennessee. He did not return home and friends and family worried. They searched the area in Southwest Bradley County and the next morning his body was found in a hayfield off of Gap Springs Rd. It's believed that he may have been lured to this area to be murdered.
