On September 17, 1994, 23-year-old Shannon Richmond was found dead in an isolated area of Shoal Creek in Monroe County, Tennessee. His body showed evidence of overkill. He was shot once in the head, stabbed and his hands were handcuffed.
He was new to the area and had just moved from Ohio to Monroe County,
