August 14, 2016 Flagstaff Arizona Sexual Assualt

On August 14, 2016, a woman and her friend were parked in Flagstaff Arizona after leaving a bar and drinking. They had been at the area for a short time waiting for a friend, before falling asleep in the car. They were sitting reclined and the vehicle was off. The woman was awoken to a knock on the driver's door window.

The man was claiming to be a police officer and was wearing a "police" hat and had a Mag-light flashlight. He asked for her registration and insurance. He then directed her to get out of the vehicle and brought her to the rear of the car. He then began frisking her on the inside of her legs and breast. He would tell her that since the keys were in the ignition she could face a DUI charge. She then began questioning him with his badge number and name, but her told her to stop asking or she would be handcuffed and arrested.

He then told her to follow him to his patrol vehicle to submit to a portable breath test. He would then bring her to a nearby alley and pushed her against a telephone pole and sexually assaulted her. The woman would cry out and her friend heard and called out to her. This scared the suspect and he ran off on foot.

The suspect is a white male between 26 to 34-years-old. He is 5'10" to 5'11"
