Urban Legends: Licked Hand

The Licked Hand is an Urban Legend that has been around since before 1982 as the earliest print of the urban legend was from February of that year. Typically the main character of the Urban legend is a young girl or a woman with bad eyesight.

One version of the story goes that a young girl is home alone for the first time with her dog as her only company. She decided to watch T.V.and when the news came on stating there is a serial killer preying in or near her neighborhood it spooks her. She would then go around making sure all the doors and windows were locked, unfortunately, she would forget about the one in the basement.

Later that night she would go to bed taking her dog to her room with her. The dog did not sleep on the bed but preferred to sleep underneath it. She would wake up to a dripping noise and it made her uneasy. To reassure herself she reached her hand down for her dog. He would then lick her hand and reassured her everything was fine.

The next morning she noticed that the dog was not in her room. She was not concerned about this. As she was thirsty so she went to the bathroom to get a glass of water. Inside was horrifying sight. The Dog was mutilated and hanging in the shower and the drips she heard were his blood. Written on the shower wall were the words "HUMANS CAN LICK TOO."

The next morning when she wakes, she goes to the bathroom for a drink of water only to find her dead, mutilated dog hanging in the shower with his blood slowly dripping onto the tiles. On the shower wall, written in the dog's blood, are the words "HUMANS CAN LICK TOO."
