May 01, 1977 Santa Cruz, California Baby Doe
On May 01, 1977 child's skull was found after animals dragged it onto the highway and a vehicle crushed it by running over it. Only the skull was found. It's believed the child had been dead for months or years. Possibly died in 1975 to 1976. Cause of Death unknown, but it could be possible murder.
The skull belonged to a white unknown gendered 1 to 2 year old. There was light brown hair found on the skull. A partial fragment of cotton cloth possibly blue/green weave pattern that was possibly part of a bed sheet or pillow case, and bright red dyed rabbit hair was stuck to the skull.
Dentals are available.
