November 17, 2001 River Rouge Jane Doe
On November 17, 2001, in River Rouge, Michigan the body of an African American woman was found floating in the Detroit River near Zug Island. She was badly decomposed at the time of her discovery.
She is believed to be between 30 and 50 years old. She was 57 inches and 194 lbs. The woman had short and black afro styled hair. Her eye colors were brown. It is noted that she had a dark complexion. She was wearing a black and burgundy striped sweater with the sleeves cut off, a copper-colored t-shirt, a light-colored bra and panties, blue jeans, and navy blue socks with brown work boots.
According to Namus, she does have her dental charts and fingerprints available, but no DNA is at this time.
