March 09, 1976 Greece, New York John Doe

On March 09, 1976 at the Greece apartments on Winston Drive Rochester, New York the superintendent of the apartments was cleaning the basement storage when he stumbled upon a rusted blue footlocker. He decided to open it and what was inside was something horrifying. It was the near skeleton of a 2 to 5 year old boy.

It was estimated that the body had been in the locker for 6 months. The child had been malnourished and had a head injury, but it’s undetermined what the cause of death was. The child likely could not walk and may have had developmental deficiencies. Weight and height were unlisted and race is unknown. He was wearing Light turquoise to light blue woolen pajama top with brown trim with "Bambi" or another deer design on left chest area and a plastic diaper with 2 stainless steel diaper pins with blue heads. A white or yellow blanket and a Khaki colored Sears Super Tarp 5x7.

Geochemical analysis of his remains say that he spent his first years of his life in the U.S. Northwest and the last years of his life in the U.S. Southeast. This means he more than likely is not from the New York area.
