On December 6, 1991, 26-year-old Lisa Wright was dropped off at the duplex she lived at 661 Union Ave. in Laconia, New Hampshire. She would not show up for work the next day and when her landlord came to the home to get rent she did not answer. Her work and mother thought it was strange that she did not show up and no one heard from her. On December 10th when the landlord got a call from her mother the landlord asked the other tenant (acting building manager) to go into her apartment to check up on her. Lisa's body would be found. She had been strangled to death.
There were charges set against a man in Jan or 1992, but they were dropped a little over a year later after witnesses recanted their statements. No one has been charged in the case since then.
